Age wise** A: Small is ages 4-6 years old, and Medium is ages 8-10 years old **Q: Which size should I order for a 7 year old who is a little tall?** A: size small: 4-6 years. size meduim 8-10 years **Q: What size for a bigger 7 year old boy, not skinny about 4 feet** A: Got a small for 4 year old who is very tall and thin. He wears a 6. Medium for 9 year old who is short and a bit thicker. He wears 10-12. They will be a little long. Like most dress up clothes a little looser. **Q: Does this costume run big?** A: I was worried about the sizing before my purchase too. I was torn between getting a small or medium. I ended up buying medium size 8-10. My son is normally a size 6/7, he's 52 pounds and 5yrs old. The small fits up to a size 6 and I was worried it might be an exact fit or a tight fit. I went ahead and got the medium and I'm happy I did. He looks great in it. It's a little big but I folded it one time at the waist. Once you put the belt on u can't tell that the pants are folded. And I folded it around his wrist as well. He tends to wear his customs around the house to play even after Halloween so this is perfect because he has room to grown and keep wearing it :) also the belt is pretty big. Once the belt is clipped on, the left over loose end actually wraps around to his back :/ thankfully, the holes on the belt are very big. u can use anything to put through the holes and tie it, just so it's in place and not hanging down in their way. I used the little bread ties ;) that's normally used to close up slice bread. But really u can use anything. Le petit était très content 🙂 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks much more expensive than it is... tons of smiles and comments when he wears it and tons of people asking where to get one! *by P***R on 13 July 2016* Update: Just bought a second consume (same one) because my little guy loved his so much for almost a year that it is falling apart in a few places (Totally expected since he wore this constantly even at the park and sometimes he even slept in it!). It is very well made and durable and the top really looks like a real uniform! We bought a police Cap that he wears instead of the other one sometimes and people stop us all the time to take pics or ask where they can get one. He's now 4-1/2 and STILL loves to wear this costume as well as his fireman one... this would make an AMAZING gift for any little boy or girl especially if they are into LEGO city because the police are a big part of Lego city. When I told him I had ordered a new one to replace the old one he was so excited that he checked the door with every sound on the expected day of arrival... it was due to arrive sometime before 8pm so when 8pm passed he was so sweet and asked if maybe the mailman got hurt and hoped he was OK... he started upstairs to bed and at about 8:30 the doorbell rang... yaaaaay! The delivery guy was fine and my little guy got his new police uniform... 😀 Original post: LOVE LOVE LOVE this costume and my 3 year old wants to wear it everywhere... I forget he's wearing it because its on him so often but am reminded quickly when I get so many smiles and comments and so many people asking where they can find one to order. Kids ALL love it and want to try it on and play with it too... I seriously looks (and feels) like a high end costume that costs much more than it did and washes and dries well too (no special care, just permanent press/cold like I wash most everything else so it gets thrown in with his other wash). People never believe me when I tell them how inexpensive it was. The belt was probably long enough to wrap around him 3-4 times but I just cut it short to fit... its just a faux leather but really completes the look because it pulls the shirt in and he can hang his handcuffs there.
