Does anybody know the height distances, low and high, this can reach? I'd like to get this to record my acoustic in my very tiny room and need to know

The height adjustment, measured from the top of the boom clamp to the base support surface, is 12" to 16.75". With tube and boom fully extended, the end of boom is 25.5" from base support surface.

Does this hold a shock mount?

Yes. It holds any of the shock mounts I use: Blue Radius, ADK, AKG Neumann and several others and have no issues.

Would this work to put a mic for singing on top of my console piano?

It should work well for that. The base is heavy enough that you can extend the boom to its full length, and it remains pretty stable. The bottom of the base is also metal, however, so you might want to set it on a piece of felt, or Plasti Dip the bottom to prevent scratching the finish on your piano.

How far does it extend? I want to use it with a samson go mic (mini) usb.

From the base to the top including a ´mic socket´ it is 69,5cm or 27,36 inches.

Ordered this from amazon.ca and got it in two business days. This is an awesome mic stand. Very sturdy. I use it for a bass drum, but I could see this work really well in all sorts of applications. The base has little rubber pads to avoid any ground vibrations from getting picked up by the mic.

Good, basic and "industry standard" style of low-rise mic stand. Heavy base is key to making this a five-star selection. What you see if what you get a nice low mic stand which articulates as shown. Good for: Bass or Guitar Amps Djembe Kick drums Desktop / podcast other low-height mic applications which may include audience mics, boundary mics around a stage, etc.

Es justo lo que se puede apreciar en la imagen. Perfecto para grabar bombos o amplificadores. La relación precio-calidad es excelente. Recomendado para uso rudo. La única parte que se ve endeble es la mariposa cromada, ese sistema no dura mucho si no se trata con cuidado. "No viene con clip"

works good, I've got a cat and it never fell or gotten out of balanced and I even spray painted it to fit my aesthetic better and its been a while and its still in perfect condition. love how adjustable it is and how it doesn't ruin my desk like the other desk mounts I've gotten before
