Me enviaron un modelo pasado
La foto del producto es del lente con parasol removible, pero me mandaron el modelo pasado que no se quita el parasol. El lente está bien hecho, tiene buena calidad y las fotos se ven bastante bien, pero es bastante pesado.

Post viewing is great, however...
On my Sony a6400 while viewing before taking a photo, it has a very strong white static effect on lines and shape edges on screen and in the viewfinder. After taking a photo however, the photo is fine. Strange thing to happen, but at least the actual photos are good.

Image circle cropped a bit on full-frame sensors, but makes nice APS-C extreme wideangle
I purchased this lens (Rokinon Fisheye CS II 8mm f1/3.5 UMC) for the full-frame Sony Alpha ILCE-7 series cameras. Made in Korea, it works well with the Sonys on manual (M) or aperture (S) priority metering. The lens is solidly built, with smooth manual focus from 1 foot to infinity. There is also an aperture ring with half-stop clicks from f3.5 to f22. Overall, my impression is that this lens represents a good value in terms of sharpness and image quality. There is some color fringing around the edges but overall seems adequately sharp. One question that wasn't addressed in the other reviews was the size of the image. This has limited the usefulness of lens for scientific applications/ With the lens shade removed, on the full frame sensor, the lens creates an image circle 29mm in diameter. Of course, given that the sensor on this camera is 35.8mm x 23.9mm, this means that the circle is cut off on the top and bottom. I measure the angle of view and found useful image coverage on the circle to be 170˚ where it's not cropped by the edge of the sensor. So if you are planning to use this fisheye as a 180˚ sky camera or for creating dome planetarium shows, it might not have the coverage you need. On the plus side, the tulip-shaped removable lens shade is well designed. It locks in place but can be twisted off for circular shots. Replace the lens shade by aligning two white guide dots and twisting in the opposite direction until it locks. When properly placed, the lens shade produces a nicely centered rectangular image and improves contrast noticeably. Switching the camera to shoot in APS-C mode, the edges of the rectangle are cropped a bit more, turning the lens into the rough equivalent of a 12mm with about a 112˚ angle of view, but with of course, the familiar fisheye curvature.
