can this sink be used in a laminate countertop?

Yes you can install it in any countertop, the material of the countertop has nothing to do with, you can be sure that you can use it in any kind of materials

Is there a logo or brand name on the aluminum band? I can't see the sides.

I originally answered the question with "no logo", but I was mistaken. When I looked at it under the kitchen light, I couldn't see it. With the light out, It was visible. A tiny "Kraus" is printed in the corner of the band, on the top side.

Can I install gabich despozel?

Yes. I had a disposal hooked up to the sink when it was installed.
