Symbol LS2208 Digital Handheld Barcode Scanner with Stand and USB Cable, Black

This product works PERFECTLY as soon as you plug it in (It's corded so the "Battery Life" rating shouldn't be factored in. This is a five start product). There was no setup required. We never really used the stand, but we did try it out. It works perfectly as well (we just don't have the room on our front counter for it).I highly recommend this product!

Of course my POS went out just when I needed it most. Had to order these to replace and happy they could be easily installed. They worked great with my POS through a busy seasonal business.

First scanner and replacement scanner had the same issue of the red light staying on. The seller offered no solutions other than to buy another one. Will not be buying another one from them.

I took a chance purchasing a 'non-Square' barcode scanner to use with my Square Stand and was THRILLED that it WORKS perfectly! highly recommend! Makes my checkout process so much faster! When the scanner rests in the cradle that reader light stays engaged for scanning (kind of like at a gas station). I prefer to NOT have it resting in the cradle which helps extend the battery life!

Connectivity issues due to the connection with the cable to the scanner. Have resorted to a mechanical electrical “bodge” to make it work about half of the time.Unable to scan all 1D barcodes like what would be expected from an LS2208 - able to use a different vendor’s scanner without issue.

Finally found a scannner that works with square. After 3 purchases and returns. This one works great.

Could not use was unable to pair

Works great and easy to install and set-up.I'm not sure if other scanners can do this or not, but this one did not scan the barcode someone had on their phone that we needed to use. We only tried this one time so it might actually work, just not on that phone. If that's something you need in your business or work I would dig deeper to see if others are using it that way.
