I'm a little confused about which chemistry this bms is for. it says 18650 in some places and lifep. does it work with lifepo4 prismatic cells?

They honestly shouldn't specify 18650, as that is simply a form factor most notably used for Li-Ion, however it's possible that an 18650 cell could have LifePo4 chemistry. With that said, this model bms is a LiFePo4 BMS used for 3.2V Nominal, 3.7V charging profile LiFePo4 battery cells, most commonly found in larger form factors such as Prismatic, 32650, 32700, etc form factors. However even within those form factors, they are not exclusively used for LiFePo4, so it's most important to look at the nominal and charging profiles of your lithium batteries chemistry and match that to your bms.

Will this work with LifePo4 32650 6000ma 12.4v?

Ending voltage should be 14.4 when fully charged, or 4 lifepo4 cells in series

Will this BMS work for solar applications to charge a 280ah battery pack at 12v?

lifepo4 4s bms can be working for lifepo4 4s battery pack . both battery type and strings should be matched. as for the current , please specify the battery load W and the limited current then we can do a calculation.
