Easy install. I've never swapped a hard drive before and even I had it done in half an hour or less from backing it up to starting a game. I have the ps4 pro so I gained 1tb. I am a little disappointed in performance though. It is 3 gig faster and 120mb in cache larger than the original but it seems to be slower in loading times sometimes by several minutes when loading a saved game. Plus side is I no longer have the freezing, crashing, or lagging that I had before so I guess the longer load times are worth it for me and it's no longer a requirement to use the external drive to do anything. I know some of these drives take longer to learn and cache data for faster times so maybe I haven't played it enough times over the past month yet to get the speed yet. Good capacity, easy install, larger cache, and faster memory but sloooow load times. I would recommend it for the storage and for replacement of the original to regain function and decent price but nothing to get too excited about with performance.Update:After using the hard drive for several months to half a year, it is performing about the same as the original as far as speed, downloads, starting games and so on. No noticeable lag or long load times like it was when I first installed the drive. Still no issues and still have full functions.

I was surprised I didn’t get the product I had ordered at first but the toshiba 2tb hard drive I got as a substitute works great and runs wonderfully I was able to install it on my PS4 Pro console and now I have a huge amount of storage space available on my console especially after I install all my games with over 60-80 gb back on my console I’m still left with over 1tb storage space left on my console I wish Sony would have made there PlayStation gaming consoles on slim version and pro version have 2tb hard drive instead of the 1tb hard drive they always put on there consoles.

My husband’s PS4 died while we were playing Borderlands a year ago. He was very upset, so I decided to fix it for him. This was very simple to install and there are fairly simple instructions on how to use it for PS4 data. Very pleased!! Great value. I will definitely trust this seller again for repairing my outdated gaming systems. It’s actually more quiet than it was previously, which is nice.

Hasta ahora está funcionando muy bien, lo instalamos en el play station 4 de mi hijo que había estado fallando y desde que le instalamos este disco duro funciona muy bien. Es muy fácil de instalar y trae instrucciones muy claras de la instalación, se me hizo de muy buen precio ya que son 2T.

So far so good. My son installed the hard drive in his PS4 himself. It was easier to install than I had anticipated. He has been playing ever since. He did say that it seems to take a bit longer to load though.

Good hard drive just wish you didn’t have to configure it to your device I had to take it to a tech place because I didn’t have my computer to set it up
