Flat, even and dark
I purchased this paint to recoat the black components of a couple astronomy rigs. it provides an even coat and the flat black minimizes unwanted reflection.

This product went on easy, but just keep it outdoors
I had a car part on the center console that the garage people scratched the crud out it. This product went on easy, but just keep it outdoors, about 1 foot away and it applied nicely. -David Allen
