Safariland 6378RDS ALS Concealment Paddle Holster with Belt Loop

Maybe a little bias, but Safariland makes the best duty type holsters. Great retention and fast draw. So far the multicam nylon on the holster has held up well. Bought it for a G19 but fits my G47 as well. Works with surefire and streamlight, just a little tighter fit (that’s what she said) with the streamlight. Overpriced yes but great quality

Love this holster. Am using it for my PSA Dagger (Glock 19 gen 3 clone) with a Streamlight TLR7X. Because it had an extended threaded barrel, I had to purchase a replacement lower plug from eBay to accommodate the equivalent of a Glock 17 length barrel. Very happy with the fit and the price.

Fits my Glock 19x gen 5 MOS with radian afterburner + ramjet, Streamlight TLR-1 HL light and a Holosun 507c Red dot. It’ll be a little tight at first but after holstering and drawing several times, it’s now a perfect fit. Functions well as expected and the quality is great!

Just a short review to: 1) Point out that there is still a problem with getting the correct holster if you order for a Glock 19/23 in Multicam, if you are expecting to receive a 6360RDS and 2) Quick basic review of the 6378RDS since this is what I received NOT A 6360RDS The product is NOT a 6360RDS, it is a 6378RDS. The major difference between these is that the 6360RDS is a LEVEL 3 retention holster featuring not only the ALS locking system, but also the SLS "strap" which covers the back side until it is flipped out of the way with its button. The 6378RDS has only the ALS Level "1" retention. Many experts consider the pistol's fit to the holster itself to be the correct identity of Level 1 retention, and ALS being a Level *2* retention system, but in any case, the 6378RDS only features the ALS locking system. So until they fix this listing, you should be aware that if you order from this listing for a Glock 19/23 in Multicam expecting to get the 6360RDS and you were looking for a Level 3 retention holster (what the 6360RDS is), you will probably NOT get what you ordered. You will receive a 6378RDS, or at least I did. Attached pictures show that what I got was a 6378RDS for Glock 19/23 and that the Safariland label on the box shows the packaging to be what was inside the box - a 6378RDS in Multicam with a waist-tuck paddle. This will be going back to Amazon, not what I need. QUICK REVIEW OF 6378RDS-2832 Since I got one of these, might as well review it, even though it is not what the item was listed to be. There are many other reviews of 6378RDS for Glock 19/23 out there, so I'm just pointing out a couple things. One, as others have stated, if you were looking for a holster you can put a QLS fork on, this can do it, it has the same 3-screw pattern to support QLS forks on the back of the holster as other Safariland holsters. The paddle setup can be removed and a QLS fork or other Safariland 3-hole pattern compatible attachment (such as a G-Code adapter) will go right on. The holes are situated pretty close to the top - this will locate the ride lower on whatever you would be attaching the holster to. The 6378RDS-2832 does fit and function with a standard Glock 19X just fine. It seems to be a nice holster, if ALS (but not ALS+SLS Level 3) retention is what you're looking for.

I ordered this holster and the exact same one in plain black. There was about a $35 difference, but this one seems much quieter when drawing and holstering. I think it's due to the cordura cover on it. Straight out of the box, my G19 with SF X300 fit perfect. I didn't need to adjust any screws and it works with my suppressor height sights. I'm very happy with the holster and Safariland knows how to make paddles! I wear plain clothes on duty and don't wear a battle/duty belt so the paddle feature works great for my needs.

Other than the always fun to assemble safariland belt attachments this is a great holster. It is well made and durable. I ran it through some serious range activity and it took the beating like a champ. It has a suede lining in areas that may make pistol contact and a very positive lock. I do appreciate the new design on the optic cover. It moves out of the way very easily when you draw. Weapon stays tight even if you do not have your flashlight attached. Overall great holster, good brand and excellent fit for a battle belt.

Thoroughly pleased that it fits my gen 3 glock 19 with a Holosun EPS Carry and a Nightstick 850-XL.

I have this for my Glock 17 and if i was rating this purely on retention, I’d give it 5 stars. Mine actually came in marked for the M3 light, but i think this model is universal for the M3 or X300 lights. It fits my X300 just fine. It will not fit a light/laser combo (i tried). It also won’t fit a Glock 17 with a threaded barrel without modification. There is a plug at the bottom that is integral to the retention system. It may fit a Glock 19 with a threaded barrel though. Safariland recommends to size up if you have a threaded barrel. So if i ever get a Glock 19x, this would be perfect. The color and Cordura are great. Fit my Safariland fork without issues of course and came with hardware.
