Guitar Pickup Acoustic Electric Transducer for Acoustic Guitar, Cable Length 10' (Gold)

I bought this not knowing if it would work well or not. It has good reviews, and I thought that since it was so inexpensive it was worth the risk. I'm glad I did, as it sounds great. I'm using it to amplify a Yamaha acoustic tuned to CGCFGC (DADGAD tuned down a whole step), both directly into an acoustic amp and into an IRig2 to access Tonestack, Amplitude, and Garageband in IOS. In all cases it is exceeding my expectations. And, though this is a lesser priority, it looks very cool!The swiveling arms on the underside that secure the pickup in the soundhole work well. My guitar has bracing that at first I thought was going to interfere, but I find that I'm able to fit the pickup easily, and am able to adjust the position to a good degree.If it were more expensive, I might subtract a star for the very small gauge cable, and that it has a 1/4" male end rather than a jack (as I want to do an install in my guitar), but for the price I have to give it 5 stars. It will be simple to cut the cable and solder to an endpin jack when I move forward with the install anyway, as the listing says.

Fitted this on my Washburn guitar to replace the original under saddle pick up which had stopped working, I would say that this one sounds far better
