truly helpful!
I purchased this for my Mom after she broke her pelvis. Getting her in and out of the tub at 93 was hard...after the broken pelvis, it was impossible because she is not allowed to bear weight on one leg for two months! We looked at several options. Hoyer lift would not fit in the bathroom, shower chair or bench was not optimal because she really loves her baths and we have a significant amount of wood around the tub which has now been compromised by water. A walk in bath is not an option because of price and remodel....on a septic system here in the country also. A local group loans equipment for people with medical needs. Our OT brought a bath lift made by another company. The battery wouldn't hold a charge long enough to let her get in and out. We couldn't find a replacement for it ($135 but not in stock anywhere)! Then I found the Maidesite lift on Amazon. I ordered it and it arrived in two days! It is perfect! Sturdy construction, lowers and raises easily. The price is so reasonable! Very easy to use, the suction cups hold it firmly to the tub.So much safer than the previous attempts to get her bathed! I put Mom in the tub the first night it arrived and she went to sleep with a smile on her face for the first time in weeks! She is happy, and so am I. My orthopedic surgeon is thankful that I am no longer trying to lift her out of the tub! I have shown this unit to several friends who need something like this for a parent! I am so thankful that this is available! God Bless you people!

Great Product!
Recently purchased this as gift for my best friend who has paraplegia. He was beyond happy with this, as he was able to take a bath in his tub for the first time in years. Said it worked well and was easy for him to transfer to and from his wheelchair. He soaked for 2 hours with the tub jets and then said later slept like a baby. Thankful for this awesome product!

I LOVE IT!
I can't believe how simple this is to install and use. We have been pricing walk-in tubs for about a year. The prices are outrageous! Not wanting to pay $20,000.00 to $27,000.00 for a BATHTUB, I decided to try this. I could not love it more. I am missing 3-4 inches of water but it didn't matter since I turn the overflow drain upside down. The 45°decline of the back is pretty great! Now listen, I am a bathing SNOB. I have to able to get to where I need to go when I'm bathing. I CAN! I can't stand shower chairs. They get in my way and I have to still stand up to shower " places." I can't do that. Not with this lift! The only thing we think about is the longevity of the product but the company sent us all the info to call them for repairs or replacement parts. Even if we had to replace the entire lift, $400.00 would be tons less than calling a plumber to fix a walk- in tub! I am 5'6" tall and weigh 193 lbs. I'm SO HAPPY I can get my paralyzed leg in easily now and getting out is a breeze also. Love love LOVE IT! ( hubs cut off the end of the video. Sorry!) Just give this a try! It's returnable if you don't like it. TOTAL GAMECHANGER! 👍

Made things for me and my husband easier to cope with Alzheimer's
I didn't buy this item for use in the tub for my husband. Instead of the tub I modified the shower with hand rails and a seat. BUT, what it was great for, if he fell, I had to struggle to get him up to chair level. I could bring this seat to him. Lower it where he was. Unfold the the wings on either side and I now have only 5 inches to slide him onto the seat, push the remote and lift him onto a waiting chair (hopefully with wheels) and you are done! He's up and unhurt. Now setbacks ... it's heavy to bring it to him. (possibility of wheels, instead of carrying it). You have to keep it plugged in to keep it charged. A little expensive, but for us, problem solved. Less stress, got him off the floor (without either one of us getting hurt)

Awesome lift....with the money
So, after my 85 year old dad fell for the third time, I looked for something to help lift him. My mom and I are unable to dead-lift him. I went searching for help. So many other lifts are either too big to store or too expensive. This one was within my price range so I gave it a shot. I hadn't used it until last night, when he fell again. He was sitting on the floor unable too get up when I brought this product over to him. He was able to slide onto it's seat and held on. I pressed the up button and he was slowly lifted up to chair height. I put a standard chair next to him and he slide over onto it with no issues. Although I didn't like that he fell.......I was so grateful to have this lift. One time we had to call a non-emergency rescue service to lift him up, so this is wonderful. We have never used it in a bathtub so I have no idea if it works well in that case. But, I am just so happy to finally have an easy solution to get him back on his feet again. Worth every dollar I paid out.

Not safe
Loved chair till it collapsed on me was trapped in tub until help came. We never figured out why it did this because it started working again however I could never trust it. Wouldn’t sell or give to anyone because I didn’t want it to happen to someone else ended up in alley. Broke my heart but lucky I didn’t break something.

Not stable and not really portable!
Not sturdy and difficult to pry off tub after use.

Quality of life saver
Bought the chair for my better half who spent 10 months in the hospital. As she can't in or out of the bathtub taking showers was the only option and she loves and misses her baths. This chair allows her to do that. It's durable, very comfortable, easy to operate and works as advertised. We are very very happy.

Great, but pricey addition for emergencies.
Works well. Slow to lift but perfectly adequate. Will be a great help to us should we need to raise someone from the floor!

Life Changing, no regrets.
Bath time was such a struggle. Baths were impossible so we only used the shower which was not relaxing. This chair has changed everything. Bathing is easy, relaxing and getting out of the tub is a breeze. No more struggle. No more strain on my back as his helper. At first I was timid of the price. We have been using the chair for about 6 months now and I can honestly say, that price is worth every penny. It was easy to assemble and install. I'm a woman with no technical experience for such things, but a careful reading of the instructions and a little patience is all that's required. No regrets here!

Person lifter that works well
Used In Brisbane Australia. This lifter is used to get my wife off the floor when she falls over .. this it does easily .. she only needs to crawl on to the seat and push the controller button to be lifted high enough to walk away .. perhaps with a little help from me, or by reaching out to a nearby lounge chair or cupboard. It can be used by her when I am not home to assist. Note this lifter comes with a plug in charger that will operate with input voltage of from 100V to 240V at 50/60 cycles. So no step down transformer needed for Australia. But you do need a cheap plug adaptor to allow it to connect to the 3 pin OZ power point. Only minimum mobility is needed .. with a basic ability to use arms and legs to move/slide onto the lifter.. Very pleased with this lifter - which can also be used in a bath.

Excellent! Well worth the $$$
My 89 year old mom loves her baths and could no longer get in and out. It is one of her true pleasures in life and she also feels it helps relieve aches and pains for a time. We looked into installing a walk in tub but wow!! Much too expensive, thousands of $$$! So I began to search for an alternative and when I found this we decided to give it a go. She is over the moon happy with how it operates and feels safe using it. She had a fall recently and had a hard time getting back up…….. I like the option of using it to help her up if she has a fall. The company is interactive and accessible…….they reached out to me when I registered for warranty to let me know they were available for any questions I might have and seemed truly interested in knowing my experience with it. I like the feeling of support they offer.

Comfortable and convenient
I purchased this bath chair to make bath time easier and safer. Prior to buying this chair, I avoided having baths because it was hard to get down into our deep bathtub and then get back out again. This bath chair makes the process possible for those times when you want to relax sore muscles and de-stress. Although you are limited to how much you can recline and how deep you can sink down in the bathtub, it is still acceptable and makes what was difficult and nearly impossible, possible again without added pain due to stiffness and aging. I recommend this bath chair. It will help you look forward to bath time again.
