## Overview

Tormek Honing Compound PA70 is a premium 3-micron abrasive paste designed for use with Tormek T-3, T-4, and T-7 leather strop wheels and other leather strops. It polishes and buffs knives and tools to razor-sharp edges with a mirror finish, enhancing cutting performance and edge longevity. Each 70g tube provides enough compound for 5-10 tools, making it an essential upgrade for any serious sharpening setup.

## Description

This is a great honing fluid, whether you own a Tormek sharpening system or not (and seriously, if you don’t, and like sharp tools, look into getting one.) This honing compound is used straight on the T-3, T-4, or T-7 leather wheel strop (or the profiled leather honing wheels) to remove burrs and polish tool edges to razor sharpness. Used after the grinding stone, this 3-micron honing compound (approximately 8000 grit) will buff and polish the edges of Tools, Knives, Wood Chisels, Plane Irons, Spoke Shaves, Carving Tools, Lathe Turning Tools, and Scissors. One application should last for 5–10 tools. You can also use this on a stand-alone leather strop if you wish (but again, if you are interested in sharp tools for your workshop, the Tormek water-cooled sharpening systems really can’t be beat.)

Review: This stuff is fantastic and works really good. I was using the hard blocks of honing compound but this stuff put a really, really razor sharp edge on my knives with a nice mirror finnish for a low friction cutting ability. They also sent it next day delivery so that was also great but remember when using this honing compound to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. If your using a leather strop then use a little WD 40 on your strop and then put this stuff on and again sparingly. I use a Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition with a leather strop on the machine but do not use oil on the strop as it will just sit there and spin on the spindle and not go anywhere as the oil prevents traction. This is a really really effective honing compound and I recommend this 100% but what would be amazing is if this company who sells this could sell different grit sizes so you could use this on a buffing wheel to polish metal. Please don't buy honing block compounds buy this and I'm telling you, you won't buy disappointed !!!

This stuff is fantastic and works really good. I was using the hard blocks of honing compound but this stuff put a really, really razor sharp edge on my knives with a nice mirror finnish for a low friction cutting ability. They also sent it next day delivery so that was also great but remember when using this honing compound to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. If your using a leather strop then use a little WD 40 on your strop and then put this stuff on and again sparingly.
