My wife got me into using Ammens Body Powder. I began having problems with an area of my skin that kept getting infected with Candida bacteria. We live in Northern California, in Sacramento, and although this isn't an area like the southeast that has problems with high humidity, we do have high temperatures during the spring and summer months. My skin has changed as I've aged, and it now seems susceptible to things, such as the Candida bacteria, which apparently likes high temperatures and sweat. My doctor helped me beat it twice in a row with medication, but I wanted to try to stop the problem before it could take ahold a third time. My wife suggested I try applying Ammens powder after showering. Frankly, the idea that using body powder staving off a pretty tough character like Candida would work seemed unlikely to me. But in just a few days I was feeling a bit more positive about trying it, and in a few weeks I came to be a believer! Ammens isn't a medication like what my doctor prescribed, but it has definitely had a very positive outcome for me. I don't use it to get rid of Candida; rather, it works by stopping it from gaining a foothold so it cannot become an infection. Showering daily keeps the skin clean, but with warmth and time, Candida is everywhere, including your skin, and if it finds the right condition it grows and flourishes! Bingo, infection! So showering, then using Ammens to keep the skin drier eliminates the conditions that Candida needs to grow and prosper. I have been free of the problem now for months and I don't expect to see a return of it. I am amazed at what a difference this powder has had. I highly recommend it for good health and great comfort. Easy to use, reasonable in price. Great product!

It’s arrived early

I have been using for about 7-8 yrs. Periodically get heat rash and dries it right up. Nice pleasant scent...highly recommend
