Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil for Dogs & Cats w/Omega 3 - EPA+DHA Fatty Acids

Package arrived well and all together. Nothing was spilled which had me worried. I started with just a small pump the day I got it, my girl is a 45-52 pound high drive girl with a sleek coat but she was itchy and when brushed I was seeing dander so that being said today is the 8th and she is shedding less, less itchy, less dander and seems happier. I had her on Costco fish oil pills and I do believe those oxidized so I got this in a 🤏🏼 but since it has worked so well I will keep it. I don’t notice a smell that’s strong at all, she likes it, with previous oils (human pills) she would eat it begrudgingly so this works. She also has the chews from this brand she used as a puppy and they were good but I prefer the oil. Will purchase again.

I've been feeding our 4 year old chocolate lab with the salmon oil on her kibble for about 3 weeks now. Wow, the difference in her skin is incredible. I'd brushed her (actually I use those nubby grooming gloves which she loves vs a brush or comb) almost a week ago and she was still flaking heavily though improving. Today's grooming was completely different. Only a very, very small amount of flaking skin. Far less than I've ever seen. Shedding also pretty minimal though I'm not sure if that's the usual seasonal shed decrease. Her skin overall has never been in this good condition since she was a young pup & her coat looks great too. I know choc labs are prone to more skin issues than others, but this is really a dramatic change. AND she loves it on her food too. So excited when she sees the bottle come out to add it to her kibble. The pump makes it easy to dispense correctly too. Just be a bit patient for results to show. The 3 week +/- time for huge improvement in our girl was well worth waiting for. And don't be tempted to over feed the oil if you don't see results right away. Just keep at it. Great product at an excellent price!

It seems like a good product however the pump leaks and is of poor quality.((For a strong sented product)(do not lay sideways at all...) They shiped my order with a squeeze or drip lid too. The dogs like it, cats tried it, ferrets have skipped on it.

This is the third time I’ve chosen this particular brand of SO because of its source and purity. My huskys and my little pups Love the oil and it makes a world of difference in their coats. One of my pups is a DoxiePin and his skin is normally dry and itchy. The SO has almost completely eradicated all his skin issues and has resulted in a healthy shiny coat with much less shedding. The oil itself is great !! HOWEVER a lot gets wasted due to the pump!! So much leaks out of this defective pump that I have to keep the bottle inside of another container in the fridge so that it doesn’t ALL go to waste! It’s very very messy and slippery so inevitably a good amount gets spilled and wasted despite my efforts to conserve it. This oil is pricy but worth it so I have to put money aside specifically for it and We use it up pretty quickly but I don’t mind because the product itself is very good. I just don’t see why a better Non leaky pump to prevent waste isn’t used. It is only for this reason that I am actively searching for a different high quality brand with a better pump that preserves all that precious oil until ready to be dispensed.

My 7 year old Lab had an itchy spot on the side of his neck. No rash or bald spot. Recurringly he would jump off the couch and scratch, he would stop in an instant on walks and scratch. It was like an immediate irritation. We started giving him two salmon jell pills a day. He still scratched. After giving him several squirts a day of this salmon oil in conjunction with the salmon jell pills. he no longer scratches. It took about 1/2 a bottle, but it worked.

Awesome product for the price. It sure helps with my pets skin and keeps my senior interested in eating. Been using this for quite a while and no plans of changing.

I believe it is helpful, 3 of the 4 dogs hate the taste so getting them to eat it is an issue. UPDATE - been rubbing the oil on my one dog's hotspots, inflamed, yeast, bald, nasty, stinky skin, her skin is actually healing. This way she also licks it off her skin (she won't eat it on food) The vomit inducing odor has dissipated and her skin is healing, growing new hairs. If your dog won't eat it, maybe try this as a non-toxic ointment on spots.
