Decided to try out something more homeopathic vs a medication when she finished her apoquel dosage and transitioned to summer. Only gave her up to 14 days as I’ve read that too much of the licorice long term can cause damage and her allergies have not returned. She still has some scratches but it’s just normal. I highly recommend this for a pup’s allergies. She had been scratching and "grooming" off her furr till she was kinda bald on her back half. I've tried all kinds of meds and treats for itchy skin that didn't do anything. But these have worked. She isn't scratching and grooming like she was. Her hair is growing back. But they recommend 1/2 pill up to 20 lbs twice a day. When I gave her that much (crushed up in her canned food) she threw up a couple of times. Reduced it to 1/4 pill 3 times a day (sometimes only twice) and it's really helping.
