My set was completely matched--they all looked exactly the same on the outside. Happy they're 100% copper. One has a black-ish mark inside that doesn't come off with soap. May try simichrome, but it doesn't annoy me enough yet. The only thing I wish is for the handles to be riveted on. Would be more durable than the welded handles, but would also introduce potential issues with leaking. Very happy with them.

Same day shipping on a Sunday. How does that even happen? They arrived by 8:20 PM.Shortly after I showered him with this perfect gift, we went on vacation. On the packing list: Moscow Mule copper mugs, vodka, lime juice, ginger beer. First night of vacation: too freaking tired, no ice in the rental house = no mules.But night #2: homemade seafood extravaganza. My happy hour contribution: duh. Moscow Mules in these mugs (otherwise this story would be irrelevant). I removed the chilled vodka from the fridge (which beeped incessantly throughout the entire week of vacation because the door wouldn't close properly without an extra shove). Two shots into each mug. Then half an ounce of lime juice, six ounces of ginger beer, ice to fill it to the top, and a fresh lime wedge to garnish. Never before had I seen such a beautiful sight. Never before had a drink stayed SO COLD. I almost had to put gloves on, but thankfully the handle stays the perfect temperature.We repeated this happy hour sequence later in the week. The mugs and drinks in them impressed our extended family, who also shared in their freezing cold deliciousness. We also impressed everyone in the Facebook community with pictures of our Moscow Mules in THESE COPPER CUPS in all their glory. I posted pictures of all four cups looking runway ready, filled with drinks. I posted pictures of these drinks looking REALLY good as the eye candy date for our homemade lobster rolls.BUY THESE MUGS. These mugs have a great, contemporary shape. The size is perfect. My only complaint is that 3 of 4 mugs came with small tarnish sports inside the mugs. I need to research if the spots can be removed. I am not yet familiar with how to care for copper. If I can get the spots out, I will be more than happy with the mugs, as I got them for a great price!

Overall, very pleased with my purchase. I noticed on Amazon's substellar "Prime Day," similar copper mugs were offered for $14 a piece. The $14 mugs were only 14 ounces, as opposed to these mugs, which are standard 16 ounce mugs. I thought that the price of $60 for 4 mugs might be a bit too good to be true, as other comparable mugs were going for $20-$26 per mug, but decided $60 wasn't all that much to gamble with. So far, very impressed. A couple of the mugs have small abrasions on the handles, but it isn't anything that draws away from the mug. Plus, it kind of adds to the artisan approach that these mugs take. We had our first round of Moscow Mules, and now are looking forward to trying some Kentucky Mules or a Dark N Stormy.Sidenote: I would recommend trying a different ginger beer than the Stoli that I have pictured. We ended up finding a local brand in WI that has much better flavor, tasted much less artificial in regard to the spice and ginger notes, and wasn't so sickly sweet. Cheers!

My mugs just arrived. I paid for the two day shipping and they arrived on time and exactly as described. This is going to be given as a birthday gift that I waited until the last minute to order so I really appreciate them arriving on time and as described. I own two copper mugs that I paid $20 a piece for and these are as nice (if not maybe a little more lustrous) than the two I own. Definitely a great value. They arrived individually wrapped in form and placed into individual boxes, the four of which were placed into a larger box that was then placed inside a larger shipping box. So they definitely should not become damaged during transit. I really relied on the other reviews when ordering this so I thought I would help out my comment karma and pass along my review. May your order arrive and be as perfect as mine.

We really wanted the real deal with the copper Moscow Mule mugs. After a lot of research, we decided we wanted to pay a bit more for artisan crafted mugs that were fully copper and did not have riveted handles. So, we ordered 8 mugs -- 2 sets of 4 mugs. After waiting 2 months, we finally received half of our order. The mugs are beautiful -- fully copper and work great with the drink. It was funny, though, that the handles did not match -- 2 of them were kind of folded under (like the picture) and 2 of them are soldered on with a black ring where the handle joins the mug. We were looking forward to receiving the 2nd set of mugs. Unfortunately, after 4 months, still no mugs and we had to get our money back. We ordered mugs -- also artisan -- from another company and love them. Slightly more money, but well worth it. The review of the most recent mugs will be posted next.
