Well, don't expect this to hang on a wall while you draw lines using its laser as a guide however, if you have a table or flat surface to set it upon then fire up the laser, you will get your straight line.Laser is bright, easy to see but device has its limitations.Basic tool for basic jobs, nothing fancy, no stud finder but does have tiny bubble levels built in.Good price for a basic laser level.

I got this laser mouse months ago and just opened the box to attempt to hang something on the wall . I don’t understand how to use this thing ??? I looked at other models that actually work but this one has NOTHING to make it stick to anything! It has some kind of needle in the back but what am I supposed to do with that?!! My husband is in construction and he said this thing is a piece of crap .. oh well , too late to send it back . Unfortunately I don’t recommend this product .

I'm hanging cabinets, and THIS tool made that job MUCH easier and kept everything in line!
