If like me you're left handed and find that the entire gaming market is just flooded with products for right handed people, then you'll struggle to find many products that cater for your needs. A simple search for a decent gaming mouse where side buttons are located on the right seems to be almost an impossibility if you're left handed these days. Even some ambidextrous mice just have side buttons on the left-side. What is the point of that, It's not even ambidextrous!!! Basically there is very little to cater for people who are dominant left-hand. After extensive searching there appears to only be 4 actual mice options in the entire market that are even worthy of looking at (in comparison to the thousands of right-handed mice). They were Razer, Dell, Logitech etc. I decided to go with this Razer mouse as it seemed the best option with high DPI, smooth skates and was good value for money (because it was on offer at 40% off). Having received the mouse, peeled the covers off the skates, plugged it in (don't bother installing the software - not required unless you want more rubbish running in the background), set my DPI on the button under the mouse. Works without a hitch, great responsiveness, glides across my vinyl mouse mat with ease and buttons feels great and not overly sensitive, they're just right. Highly recommended for FPS games and also good with RPGs.

Been using the Razer Viper 8KHz for a bit now, and honestly, it’s a beast. The 8000Hz polling rate makes everything feel stupidly responsive — flicks, micro‑adjustments, tracking, all of it just feels sharper. The shape’s spot on, clicks feel clean, and the weight’s perfect for FPS. But here’s the bit nobody tells you until you find out the hard way: This mouse is proper picky with mouse pads. If your pad isn’t tightly woven or consistent, the sensor just throws a tantrum. On some pads I was getting: random jitter weird micro skips tracking that felt “off” for no reason One of them that didn't work great was the Razor Goliathus v2. Swap to a decent hybrid or a tighter cloth pad and boom — flawless. It’s not the mouse, it’s the surface. The 8K polling rate basically exposes every flaw in a cheap pad. What’s good Ridiculously low latency Lightweight and comfy Sensor is perfect when the pad doesn’t sabotage it Great for fast FPS aim What’s not Needs a proper mouse pad or it’ll act up Synapse is… Synapse 8KHz can be overkill if your system isn’t tuned Overall Cracking mouse once you pair it with the right pad. If you’ve got a solid surface, it feels unreal. If you don’t, you’ll think it’s broken. Get the pad sorted and it’s one of the smoothest, fastest mice you can run.

This mouse has been well executed with the symmetrical design. It is comfortable and it’s ergonomics don’t hinder your grip. My hands are medium 8cm across the knuckle and holding this thing is natural. Amazon have been faultless in exchanging the product under warranty as I’ve hit a problem with the middle mouse button. The microswitch became buggy after around 5-6 months and either clicks x2 in one press or the regular designed once per press.

The viper 8k is an excellent mouse, mainly, for fps. It is extremely responsive and, for me, it has the perfect weight without feeling cheap or "plasticky". Its shape is very similar to the FK2 but it is only slightly larger, the front is a little more raised and it has deeper comfort grooves. My grip style is fingertip and I felt really comfortable after a few hours with it. However, I feel like this will be very good for claw as well, if not better. PROS: +8k! Yes, that is 0.125ms response time. Although, to take advantage of the polling rate you kinda need to have a good PC and monitor +perfect sensor +well balanced +excellent grip due to both the shape and the rubberised sides +true ambidextrous (butons on both sides) +optical main switches (no more double-click issues) +nice cable +familiar safe-ish shape CONS: -M1 & M2 feel and sound really hollow -the side buttons are not very easy to press (however this can also be good as the same stands for the buttons on the opposite side that you don't want to press accidentally) -the surface of the mouse could be better. It is not terrible but there are way nicer coated mice out there (zowie, GPX Superlight etc) -Cannot be managed by synapse 2. You have to download synapse 3 to configure the Viper as with all new Razer products. In conclusion this is a mouse that you are buying mainly for fps games. Its balance-shape-weight combo is good enough on its own. The addition of the excellent sensor and the optical switches makes it a top choice. Add to that the fact that the shell has no holes (very positive imo) and you have a classic. Future-proof too, cause of the 8Khz polling rate (although I think it's overkill for now). Unfortunatelly, I had to return it because I simply could not stand the feel and, mainly, sound of the switches, which to be fair you do not notice in-game. Buy it without second thought if it's on sale.

the people at razer really know there way around a gaming mouse! everything is perfect, i have owned it for over 1 month now and still works like the first day out the box..... i gave this a 5 star but it has to be changed to 1 star as it became faulty. edit: after a few months owning this the SCROLL WHEEL HAS BECAME FAULTY.. it scrolls up when i scroll down and down when i scroll up, sometimes even double scrolls and inputs that the mouse doesn't even register, it feels like it has a mind of its own, no outside breakage just FAULTY INSIDE!! its razers fault not mine people! just a heads up, because scams are bad and i have been scammed, and i hope you don't get scammed as well i will add i purchased a cheap wireless/keyboard combo back in 2010, the brand is not important, but it lasted me all the way untill just last year 2022, it costed me £8 and i still use the keyboard but the mouse broke after 12 years of use... i purchased a mouse just before this razer and it lasted me just over a month and clicks became faulty, as it was just past the month i could not send it back, sort of like the scroll wheel of this new razer has became faulty in just a few months.. everyone just hyper-focused on that monie though and not focus on the small things that make life great, like a mouse that works.. at least until it breaks by your own fault.. like raging at getting pk'd in some fps, that wasn't even 100% your fault, because your system lagged and froze up, by the time your back in the game YOU are pk'd and the mouse gets flung across the table and breaks, id fully take all the blame that way.. but not when its a fault inside the mouse.. that's why i am not happy with this purchase, its faulty inside and it was not advertised this way

Excellent mouse, cant go rong with Razor. Light, comfortable grip and very reactive, easy to setup and adjust different settings in software such as light and DPI. Some people have aid about the DPI button being on the base of the mouse but you can Hotkey to middle mouse button if you want. Great value.

I've used a range of mouse's including Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries, Final mouse, etc... This mouse is adequate for it's functioning, with a good mousemat the tracking from the mouse is good never really noticed a problem. The glide of the mouse is also ok, Not that heavy so doesn't feel like an effort to move so can be used well for gaming, Although you could replace the glides on the mouse to make it move better. Goes up to high DPI of 8k, Although not much point of going that high since it's extremely hard to control and usually users prefer a lower DPI setting ~ 800 DPI Overall, Good mouse for the price definitely a good entry gaming mouse, although with time i feel the gliders of the mouse might become worn making it harder to use.

Bozulan logitech faremin yerine aldım. Hemen CS2 de denedim. Çok çabuk alıştım ve hissedilir oranda daha iyi nişan aldığımı hissettim. Hafifliği çok yerinde. Hızlıca çekip hedef almaya çalıştığınızda overshot olmuyor. Tam istediğiniz noktaya geliyor. Rekabetçi oynayanlar bilir flick shot için çok iyi. Sol ve sağ tuş basış hissiyatında biraz boşluk hissediliyor. Ama tuşların dönüşü olduköa hızlı, tek tek tıklarken sorun çıkartmıyor. İleri geri tuşlarını kullanmak için uygulamayı indirip ayarlamam gerekti. Ancak sonradan uygulamanın arkada çalışmasına gerek olmuyor. Teker bunnyhop için çok iyi değil, o amaçla alınmasını tavsiye etmiyorum. Razer yazılımı birçok şeye olanak sağlıyor ve kullanımı kolay. Ancak sisteme gereksiz yük bindirmesiyle ünlü olduğundan arkada çalıştırmıyorum. Ne yazıkki program çalışmazken rgb yi kontrol edemedim. Şu an karşılaştığım tek sorun da bu. Sizin için sorun değilse kesinlikle almayı düşünün.

After using a cheap gaming mouse for almost a year which i thought I was satisfied with, but when I switched for this Razer mouse (this is the 2nd product I buy from them) I IMMEDIATELY !!! felt the difference.
