Collagen Powder, Hydrolysed Bovine Peptides, Grass Fed, Unflavoured, 1kg

I started taking this collagen mainly to support my joints. I'd previously been using glucosamine and chondroitin but didn't notice much of a difference, so I decided to give collagen a try instead. Even if it doesn't make a tangible difference to my joints yet, I like that collagen is often associated with supporting skin, hair and nails as well. I know any visible benefits are likely to take a few months, so I'm happy to be patient. One thing I always struggle with when it comes to collagen powders is the odd taste. Thankfully, this one is much milder than others I've had. There's virtually no smell, which is a huge plus for me. The taste isn't completely neutral, but it's subtle enough that I don't find it unpleasant. My personal tip is to mix it into a few drops of a hot drink rather than a whole mug. It dissolves very easily in hot drinks with no lumps, and I find it's much easier to finish quickly that way. I haven't tried it in cold drinks yet, so I can't comment on how well it mixes there. (And it's not recommended on package.) Overall, if you're someone who's sensitive to the taste of collagen powders, I think this is one of the better ones I've come across. The mild flavour and easy mixing make it much easier to stick to taking it every day.

I really liked this collagen power, no smell and tasteless in coffee. I find it mixes wellin hot drinks ( not tried in cold ) doesn't take long to dissolve and very easy to use. I am very happy with this and will be ordering more. Basted on using twice a day it will last a month. Great product doesn't come with a scoop anymore but a heap teaspoon is plenty.

A decent quality. My only issue was at times it wouldn't mix properly in the cup of coffee, so I'd have a few little white bits floating about. I couldn't detect any smells or tastes from it, which I had been concerned about. Haven't noticed any side effects, but also Haven't noticed a difference in joints or skin etc.

The idea that this has no taste is pretty misleading. It doesn't have a strong obvious flavour but it DOES have a subtle background... umami? Meatiness? It's as if you had a beef flavour but then took away all the other things that add to it such as salt and fat. It's not a bad taste, but it is there. If you've ever had broth or real beef stock, this has a touch of that. To me, this is not a bad thing. I've found it actually works fantastically in stews or soup. Makes them taste like they've been cooking up for hours as well as adding nutrition. Anyway, does it work? Anecdotally I would say yes. I'm noticing better joint resilience in the gym and more consistent results. It almost feels like I've increased my protein intake without actually having to eat a ton more protein. My hair and skin look and feel better. If you're into strength training, I'd recommend it. The effects aren't as obvious as creatine but long term it might be almost as useful.

This is a product I order regularly and most of the time it is fine but I keep getting a bag that is a different consistency and taste which is not ideal as you don’t know until you open the bag which it’s going to be. I have it in my cup of tea - if it just sinks and dissolves I know it’s not good and the taste is bad. If you have to properly stir it cause it floats it is then tasteless - just want some consistency

The package arrived with a small hole on the bottom and I did lost quite some collagen due to that.I tried to replace it but no returns were accepted for this order. As most of the times amazon has been very helpful and offered a refund which I am happy about. The product itself seems very good quality tried it as usual with my tea and has no taste at all. The price is very decent considering the huge amount and quality you get, which is hard to find. I will definitely repurchase this again.

Mixes easily in coffee (I use a milk frother) and whilst not completely tasteless doesn't affect it enough to be unpleasant. Mine arrived without a scoop but this was swiftly rectified when I contacted them. Lovely company to deal with. Am on my second pack now and finding my knees less painful so personally find it worthwhile and would recommend

I first started buying collogen because I'm 65 and my hair started thinning really bad. I've bought 3 different brands and I think this is the best so far. Well I shouldn't say so far because this is the brand I'm sticking with. No flavor which is good because I put it in my morning smoothies. Good amount for the price. Well worth it. My hair started to get thicker in the first month. I'm telling you for a fact my hair has almost returned to the thickness it was in my 20s. I could barely wrap a hair band around my hair 2 times in my 20s but when I got older I could put it around my hair 4 times. It's down to 3 times now and that's getting tight. At this rate it'll be back to twice around in another month or so. Before this I was really scared I would be going bald or thinned out really bad in 5 years. That's a hard thing to face when you come from a family of women who die with unimaginable thick heads of hair. Collogen has many other benifits as well. I reserched the best type of collogen to buy and it hits all the bells and whistles. All bovine (no chicken or fish). It's good for skin, hair, Nails and Joints as it should be. My nails have gotten long. My skin feels better. Ignore my wrinkles. Lol I don't think anything will help those. Lol. Rich in protein, essential amino acids. Disolves really easy in my smoothies. I add almond milk to mine and add my powders last then blend in my nutra blender. It never clumps. Don't add it first because that will make it stick to the bottom after your liquid goes in. Yes I'll be sticking with this. Like I said I'm 65 and I'm loving all the great results. You'd be crazy not to try it for at least a month or two. I'll bet you love like me. Update... This product is misleading. The serving size in the description says it has 45 servings but on the back of the package says only 37 servings so which one is it? Also there is a look a like for sale. It's very similar to this packaging but is only half the size. I bought it because I thought it was on sale for $15 dollars. Don't make the same mistake as me. I doubt I'll be able to return it.
