How do you remove the polish? Does it come off with regular nail polish remover?

It does come off with regular nail polish remover, however I prefer the Essie polish remover as it less drying than most. Essie's polish remover has less of a harsh smell as most of the others.

Do I have to buy the Gel lamp to dry the polish?

No, a lamp is not used with this polish. It dries like regular polish, maybe a little more quickly.
