Is the animal raised on grains?

No.. the animals are all from very small farms where they graze from the lands. The products are not from factory farms.

Do you soak this topper in water before feeding ?

You can try a small portion of soaked and dry to see what your cat prefers. Mine always preferred dry.

What’s the best flavor for picky cats from the Meow choices ?

Only your cat can answer that question! However, you might try chicken to begin; they offer other flavors to determine if your kitty has a truly gourmet palet👏🏻🐈⬛👏🏻

I'm wondering about the cost? i know fillet mignon steaks are around $15 for 9oz why is this $38?

It is expensive food for your cat. It cost more than my food, but it is healthy for the cats!!! It is natural venison; it has been prepared by freeze dryer it. I feed it to my older cat - one evening meal, which will almost last a month. She eats other private-label, healthy cat foods during the day - that are pure but not as expensive! She was getting a kidney disease from eating named brand US popular brands which are cheap! It is worth her health! She is a lot happier with healthy food!
