**Q: Does this work for long thick curly hair? Will it hold?**
A: Yes,our banana clips work for long thick curly hair,hold it tight;)

**Q: Can this also be used in a low ponytail for thick curly hair?**
A: I couldn’t use it for any of my hair. I have thick hair. The clips aren’t as long as I needed them to be. As they use to be back in the 1990’s. I thought they would be longer clips. Couldn’t get enough hair in it to clip it closed.

**Q: Are the little teeth on the inside silicone? Or hard plastic?**
A: The teeth are not little but they do grip hair very nicely. I believe - just my opinion - that the clips are made of a very durable plastic of some sort with a very thin layer of a matte finish. That being said I do not own a set that includes the tortoise shell style. I have the set of multi color and I love them.
