I had to return it. No way does it look good

I bought this paper to correspond with my wife who is currently overseas with the USAR. We both appreciate unique stationery products. I am also a fountain pen enthusiast (and collector) who loves to hand write letters. I thought this would be something my wife would look forward to receiving at mail call. The paper is good quality, and the designs are unique and well done. I especially appreciate that they are printed on both sides ... it adds to the realism. A couple of the patterns are a little dark, but that's part of the charm. The paper and envelopes are quite sturdy, though I did find a little bleeding through of my fountain pen ink, though it was minor and did not affect the readability of the writing on the other side. I used a broad-tip calligraphy fountain pen with Pilot ink, so I will try a finer point pen next time to see if that helps mitigate the bleeding. I used a wax seal on the envelope and had no problem with that. My first letter to my wife has not arrived yet, so I can't speak to how it survived the U.S.P.S. and the U.S. Army mail service, but I'm sure it deliver my love and support no problem. One suggestion I would make ... I sometimes write multiple-page letters, so having the same number of pages of paper and envelopes is a bit less than practical for me. I'd appreciate more paper than envelopes. I can always find use for leftover paper, but I'm not wasting a nice envelope like this on paying bills.

This vintage paper and envelope set exceeded my expectations. The designs look truly antique and add a special touch to letters, journaling, and creative projects. The paper has a good thickness, prints well, and the envelopes match perfectly. Everything arrived flat and in perfect condition. Great value and excellent quality. Would definitely buy again.

I bought these envelopes to go with paper that I purchased earlier thinking those had matching envelopes but did not. Luckily enough, I found these and they were a superb match. Size was optimal to fit the paper and of the paper and envelopes were so similar they might as well have been a matching set. No smearing of the ink on these. Very good quality. Love the look. And I received more than enough envelopes for the amount of paper I purchased. Good texture and thickness.
