The bullet is fake (light and you can hear it's hollow when you flick it), but why would it need a real one - this one seems to be nicely made with no machining marks left and the colour looks like fresh copper. It's held in the case solidly. As for its bottle opening abilities, it does a great job; I was worried the brass would be too thin/soft to be durable enough but it bit the top off my bottle tonight as if it was nothing, and I'd imagine will continue to do so for many years. It’s really nice. **Q: Can i carry it outside the usa? airport security?** A: Yes because its not a live bullet with gun powder. Clearly its a bottle opener. This is an exact replica if I’m not mistaken and I thought it’d be better to have a use if I got a 50 cal bullet for my shelf. Works well as a bottle opener. I don’t drink the funny juice but I do like me a mexicoke when I can find them, and I don’t like to keep a bottle opener on my keys since it’s a rare occasion I would use it.
