I had a spinal fusion December 2019. L4, 5 and S1. And then a left side hip replacement 2 months later. Ever since I’ve had pain with my other hip and low back pain on a daily basis. I had a big bulky back brace but it fit over my mid section more and would slide up totally avoiding my hip and lower back. The day I received this support belt I immediately put it on. I felt the support right away and followed directions of wearing it while standing, walking, sitting and driving too. The first time I got up from my chair I did not have the familiar pain in my back hip and knee. Then after driving for only 8 mins when I got out of my car I had no pain at all (normally I can hardly walk after driving any amount of time) then the real test was standing for 20 mins….no pain! I have only taken aleve once over the past 4 days because I forgot to wear it and was lifting my grandkids. Now while wearing the brace I don’t have pain after playing with my grandkids or sitting on the floor or carrying them for a short distance! I’m truly grateful I found this sacroiliac support belt!!

Love this SI belt. This is actually my second as I didn't realize till I had had the first for quite awhile that I ordered XL. It worked fine as it just means there is “extra” belt to wrap around you. But decided when I realized my mistake to get the smaller one for every day use and leave the second in the car in case I get out for a walk and forgot to put the other on. Love how stable it feels. Rarely slips up unless I am doing a lot of bending and lifting…then it sometimes creeps up my hips a bit. Easily adjusted if it does. But overall a very snug and secure fit. I had a 3 level spinal fusion in March and just had an SI joint injection recently. But as I have scoliosis I have continuing pain when standing for long periods, and this belt does help me a lot. A great purchase!

I needed something to help compress my right hip and sciatic nerve. I work long hours on my feet and my right hip has weakend and causes me pain from all the wear and tear. This did the job well. It takes a bit of time for pain to subside but the pressure felt glorious. I could actually move better after wearing it for a while. I could tighten it all I wanted but it can make your leg go numb if it's too tight for too long. The material is very comfortable and the Velcro and straps are durable and great quality. Comes with a nice little sack to store in. I really appreciate how much this has helped when my pain is bad.

While this is comfortable and provides good support, it moves around too much when going from sitting to standing. I found myself constantly having to pull it down. I honestly recommend that anyone who needs an SI brace get one that secures to the thigh as well. I ended up getting that type and it was a game-changer.

I have 2 autoimmune disorders and EDS (Ehrlers-Danlos Syndrome) a Hypermobilty disorder that makes my entire lower SI joint and hips very weak/painful/unstable... I have tried nearly every type of SI best out there from the kind you buy at your local Walgreens/Pharmacy to those that were prescribed to me by doctors and were considered "medical devices". With my conditions my hips and spine often dislocate or pinch nerves inbetween vertabrae, so as you can imagine I have a lot of pain and instability. (sometimes a nerve will get pinched so quickly it paralyzes my right leg because a main nerve from my spine gets "trapped" between the vertabrae) While, basically nearly all the belts are similar in design this one for me works the best. Before I had to wear actually sometime up to 3 separate braces to support my hip/lower back and SI joint. With this one I can just wear it ALONE and do chair work or moving around (lightly to medium) without the need for all the braces. This belt is a LIFE SAVER for me. I can cinch it up tight and it holds without rolling or bunching up. It has a soft little disk/pillow/saddle that sits right on your lower backbone. For me...with painful loose hips/spine this belt tightens it ALL up and allows me to really MOVE and sit pain free! It is a blessing. I usually don't run out and write reviews right away, but this was such a helpful aid for me I wanted to let others know. If you have really bad SI joints or a hypermobility disorder (EDS/genetic) accident to your lower back etc...This really helped me. The instructions are so easy, you can wear it UNDER or over clothing it even comes with 2 travel cases. Best of all for me (a lady) I can very easily take it on and off if I am eating out and need to go to the bathroom etc.

I like everything about the SI belt. During the pandemic I was super stress out and I over exercised my body. I walked several miles 4-6 a day and played tennis. During 2 years I did stop no matter how much pain I had I keep walking to keep my sanity. In addition My 18 1/2 cat died also. So one day I found myself unable to move. My sciatic was very painful down my thigh front and back, leg and feet. I was taken 3 hours massage which gave me lots of relief but I didn’t stop exercising. One day it was a TV commercial of a braze that will alleviate the sciatic so I went to Amazon but in my searching I found the SI belt I bought it, wear it day and night for 3 weeks and my pain disappeared. I am still playing tennis and walking a lot, always wearing the SI belt. I have bought 3 SI belts already and giving them to people with sciatic pain with excellent results. SI belt saved me. Highly recommended. Don’t forget to stretch after exceeding it is part of the treatment. Good luck.

Not comparable in terms of quality and durability to the Sacroiliac SI Joint Hip Belt - Lower Back Support Brace for Men and Women - Pelvic Support Belt - Trochanter Belt - Sciatica Pelvis Lumbar Hip Pain Relief - FSA HSA Eligible (Regular) sold by the same company. The grip is made of poor quality material and tends to loosen immediately making this belt totally useless. Luckily I kept the model I mentioned above and that is still on sale which instead is excellent and that I have been using since 2013 with excellent results. Don't buy it
