Boy, was I wrong. If you have a home that is older and has copper piping that tends to spring leaks, PEX is for you. You will save a ton of money-making repairs or replacing copper pipes with PEX and doing it yourself. Very easy to do once you get the hang of it. One plumber visit to fix just one leak can cost $200 to $300 easily. For that amount one can purchase the PEX and fitting to replumb half one's house. There are tons of how to videos online to teach you how.
