Can water be supplied from the tank rather than the tap? Does it self prime?

I recently bought one of these. The instructional manual shows (in pictures) that you can use the pressure washer with a hose into a tank of water but the attachment used for this is not supplied.

Does it make a loud noise when in use?

It is quite loud when the trigger is pulled and its actually spraying water, but once the trigger is released and the water stops, so does the pump and the noise.

Unable to connect my expandable garden hose to the blue connector for the water inlet, do i need to buy a seperate garden hose?

Had two of these delivered, both faulty. The hose connectors were different on each machine. Not impressed!!!
