My 3year old niece had problems cutting, especially curves and circles. One day her mom asked if she also cut with her left hand and I said yes. Finally it dawned on me that perhaps her problems were with using right handed scissors in her left hand and she said she would try to find a pair of left hand scissors. I bought these and let her know. Sure enough the next day she visited i gave her these new scissors and she cut curves and circles and mostly in line in record timing! She will be all set for preschool next school year. Safe blunt tip, no problems cutting through thick paper, nice size for little hands, only wish I could've picked pink (received yellow).

These worked really well for my left-handed daughter and we finally have no tears, with the left handed verses the right handed. Would recommend purchasing for all left handed kids because they need them.

These are nice scissors for a lefty kid (pre-k to probably 2nd grade). They cut well. I was just disappointed that the picture showed pink scissors but we received blue ones. That means that you should probably just expect a random color.

The product seems flimsy compared to other child scissors. However they work just fine and have held up for 4+months. I wish it came in more colors as pink is not my daughters favorite. I spent ages trying to find a left hand pair in stores and couldn’t find them anywhere so thank you amazon.

My almost-3 year old granddaughter is a leftie - the only one in her household - and since she's getting old enough to develop the small motor skills needed to wield scissors, I send her these scissors. Apparently, she has gotten pretty good at using them, since it was reported in a recent Zoom call that she decided to cut her own hair - she now has bangs !

For the price, you really can't beat it. I've been looking for true lefty scissors for a while because our 5 year old daughter is a lefty. These are a little sticky, but they're not that expensive, so I feel like it's excusable. Trying to use these myself (with my relatively small hands, but still as a righty) was really eye-opening. All the parents out there who are wondering whether their lefties really need lefty scissors - they do! Which blade is on top really matters and it makes the paper fold all funny if you're cutting opposite-handed. I'm still on the lookout for a pair of lefty blunt-tipped Fiskars (because blunt-tipped Fiskars are required for kindergarten), but I really do like these and more important, my 5yo does too.

I dropped them on our hardwood floor and they broke apart in two pieces within the first week of ownership. The two pieces are held together with a hard plastic rivet - it snapped on impact. They worked great until I dropped them. I have now have purchased another brand for hopefully a longer use cycle.

Dropped on the floor 5 mins after opening and they broke in half and couldn't be put back together.

The photo is misleading! I thought I was buying four pairs of scissors but it was only one pair!! Waste of money! Too much for one pair of scissors
