Liquorice Root Dried Cut - Naturally Sweet for Tea and Chewing

Good product. A bag of this lasts me over a year.

I've recently discovered this tea is great for stomach issues.

delivery on time, quality is good. I'm happy with the look and smell. I really hope that the seller is a professional in drying this root, since this indicator is very important for quality and benefits. I grind licorice root in a coffee grinder and make tea.

Great! As it’s a plant and you’re drinking water as well by brewing it, it’s probably good for you! It doesn’t taste like liquorice so add star anise and anise seed whereby both seem to be closer to the traditional liquorice taste. Doing this also adds a lot of sweetness (yeah actually I don’t know if there’s some odd historical war here in what’s the “true” liquorice taste, also the sweetness element from adding star anise and anise seed is a curiosity as it’s really pretty strong). Stevia leaf also exists too here with this sweetness trick when mixing liquorice (is spelling licorice?) root and star anise (and anise seed too I think, 2 or 3 things) which I think will become an easy to forget thing recently, but maybe not! Truth around stevia leaf isn’t clear as there’s various claims but it looks it certainly looks good as well!

Larger than i thought, i was buying it whole and breaking it down for cups of tea. I still had to chop this down further with scissors, but didnt have to snap and break up as much as before so cant complain. Same quality from a different company, fragrant and tasty. Its good. For anyone interested: it goes really nice with large leaf assam, fennel and cardamon. the ratios that suit me are: 3tbsp tea 1/2 tsp fennel 6 cardamon pods chopped up, also adding the seeds to the blend as they hold flavour too) 1 tsp liqourice X10 fits in my jar so i make it once every week or two. (And i do 1tbsp per cup when i make it, of course adding milk as its a black tea) And i usually substitute 5 tsp of liquorice for 5 tsp of ashwaganda (they taste and smell similar so doesnt change the flavour it practically piggy backs the liquorice) Why not haha

Estupendo producto

Using the liquorice root to make tea, which it does very well. Can make a few cups of tea from one measure. I like that the instructions on how best to make the tea are included on the package. May just be me, but upon opening the packet I didn't get the strong aroma I expected and normally get with other products (not liquorice) but as this is my first time buying organic liquorice, perhaps my expectations were unrealistic. Overall I am very pleased with this product and the sweet, flavoursome tea it produces. Will buy again.
