Landed a 7lb largemouth on this spider and it's officially earned a permanent spot in my box. The legs give it this subtle twitch and movement on the surface that looks incredibly realistic, even just sitting still it's got a little life to it that seems to drive bass crazy. 2.5 inch size is perfect for working around docks, laydowns, and shallow cover without looking too big or spooking wary fish. Worked it slow with little twitches and pauses and that's when I got the big one to commit, she just sucked it right off the top. Casts well for how light it is, and the profile looks incredibly lifelike sitting on the water, you can see why bass mistake it for the real thing. Skin/body held up fine even after that fight with the big fish, no tearing or damage after the fact. Since landing that one I've had a handful of other blowups and follow ups on it too, seems like it draws attention even from fish that don't fully commit. Definitely staying tied on for topwater situations from here on out.

I don’t think the Muskies want me to praise this bait too much but you have to try it if you like to watch fish jump out of the water with a bait in their mouth.
