Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick - 084 Amethyst Shimmer

Love this brand. Goes on smoothly, and for me, lasts the right amount if time I used to buy at Walmart but they stopped carrying so I was happy to find on Amazon.

My favorite color lipstick! Very flattering. I don't care for the stain type of lipstick that is still there the next day even after washing your face. This is traditional lipstick so it does come off on your glass or straw. I was so happy to be able to find it since my last one was just about done. Good quality and keeps my lips soft. 💋

This Rimmel lipstick is the ONLY brand of lipstick that seems to carry this particular color! It’s my favorite shade, and comes close to the #640 I bought in another brand that I used for years until for some unknown reason, it was discontinued. I also like the longevity of this lipstick on my lips, and it doesn’t bleed like some other brands. It does appear to leave my lips a little on the dry side, but it hits all my high points…shine, shimmer, texture, and the paramount, the right color! Last but not least, it’s very affordable.

Love the Amethyst shimmer. Not that long lasting.

I used to use this back in the 90s, but I couldn’t remember the name of the colour, although I knew it was something shimmer. I actually thought it would have been discontinued, so didn’t pursue it. Finally, I saw it mentioned on social media and it rang a bell. Found it, ordered it and so happy with it. It’s the perfect deep pink, beautiful texture, and performs well. It’s never going to stay on for hours, it’s a standard lipstick, but it’s moisturising and sits comfortably on the lips, with no strong taste or smell. Absolute bargain.
