They are very sharp but in fairness to mark them down for this is rather like marking down razor blades for being too sharp. nonsense. very nice to use, They cut thick nails cleanly without breaking them unlike blunt clippers. I gave a set to my wife and then had to buy my own. In my opinion, an absolute must buy.
