What's the difference between this blue container and the other Truly's Natural Deordorant which has a green container?

The blue container specifically says "for kids." The green one is more for adults, but it's safe for kids as well. They both smell exactly the same though.

does this "for kids" differ from the traditional Truly's? (other than the packaging, of course)

They are the same. I had the same question and I ended up buying one of each to find out the hard way. Ingredients are the same except the label on the lid. One says for kid. Totally marketing schemes.

How do you typically apply this deodorant?

I pushed my finger against the deodorant surface and getting some with circling motion. I'm not trying to scoop it so it is almost invisible on my finger but it is enough. I put it to armpits of my 10 years old daughter several times and it protects her for the whole school day.

How many weeks does this container last (before it runs out)?

It will last about 4-6 months depending on how much you use.
