Superb Salt! Unique flavour, really versatile- great in salads, general cooking and also for those special sweet / salty combinations. The large crystals are amazing for decoration! Once you've tried it you'll wonder how you every made tasty food without it. A big step up from rock salt & himalayan salt!

Cardboard box doesnt stop it getting damp.
I loved this salt, but i didnt realise the cardboard box wasnt damp proofed. So all the salt went wet very quickly. I poured it into a glass bottle and had to use a spoon to trickle it out to use. My advise, decant it immediately!!

No, not all salts are equal!
No, not all salts are equal. Like not all waters taste the same. This salt has a unique flavor - certainly due to the equally unique harvesting way. I first discovered this salt during a food show where they exhibited and shared the blackthorn harvesting model. I am now a regular user of it. And the team at blackthorn were extremely nice.
