I recently adopted a 12 year old cat. I tried many different cat foods! If you have a finicky eater, your cat will love this Royal Canin® aging 12+ I called the company and optimum nutrients also not to high in phosphorous, salt, and its very good natural food cats need! Your cat will be happy, its a bit expensive but way worth it. Get the 5.1OZ make sure its the LOAF IN SAUCE not the thin slices.

Very good canned cat food for my older cats. Palatable and readily eaten by my cats. Good price.

When my elderly kitty lost interest in eating I tried a bunch of different options and she ended up loving this. She has passed now but she got a few good years on this food.

My 17 year old buddy is slowing down. As he becomes more sedentary and he loses muscle, he's lost weight. It was rapid enough that the vet was sure there were problems and then was quite suprised when his blood tests came back with no sign of a problem. The real problem is that he became a licker and not an eater....until I bought this food. It is kind of pricey, but it is the only food he's tried where he eats the whole portion instead of just licking the juice. He loves this stuff. Occationally I'll try some other brand and he's back to just licking the juice. The best part is that he's put on weight and seems happy.

Up until now my 12-year-old cat would only eat Purina Fancy Feast chicken pate. I have been wanting to switch to something more nutritious. My cat groomer told me that her cats are also picky but love this. It seemed doubtful that mine would LOVE it, but decided to give it a try. I got one can at a pet store and gave it a try. I slowly added it to the Fancy Feast. I added more of it each day because he wouldn't eat very much of it all by itself. Now he will eat it alone if I mix it with Forti Flora. The only thing I don't like is that the pate (called " loaf in sauce") only comes in the big can. I would much prefer a smaller sized can. The other Aging food "thin slices in gravy" comes in smaller cans, but my cat will only eat the loaf in sauce pate.

Cats love it and they are picky. But it is expensive, especially if your on a budget. But its one of the only can cat foods my cat will eat.

My cat doesn't seem to like it much. It's a small can but she'll only eat half. It is a well packed can so maybe it's just too much at one time.
