This is a very lightweight type blanket (as it says throw) but a very nice quality. Daughter wanted something to throw around her shoulders at work when she gets cold, so its perfect! Light enough to hang on wall, over a reading chair, or place over a quilt on a bed but should not be considered for someone needing it to be a heavy blanket. Very nice otherwise!
