Esteem Apparel Original Men's Chest Compression Shirt to Hide Gynecomastia Moobs Shapewear

I ordered a size L and it fit perfectly. I’ve been wearing it every day for two weeks now after my surgery, and I genuinely feel confident and comfortable in it. Everything stays in place all day without shifting, and you can tell the fabric quality is really good. It breathes well, so it doesn’t feel sticky with sweat, and it doesn’t hold any odor after wearing it. I look and feel great in this, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone recovering from surgery or just looking for comfortable everyday compression wear.

Love, love, love these compression shirts! Spanx for men! They are decent for downsizing the belly, but chest compression is where they really excel. My slight/moderate man boobs are gone, and I’ve gone from XL T-shirt’s to medium T-shirts; the mediums are just approaching tight on me, but with this compression shirt underneath the overall effect is I’ve got a lightly fit/developed chest and I look 15 pounds lighter and much more fit. Marvelous! It may be an illusion overall, but I don’t care as I just feel so much better about my body. I am a tall guy at 6ft2 with a broad 44 inch chest. I started with these compression shirts in an XL, which did a nice job, but then went to the large, which did an even better job. But now I’ve switched to the medium, which is just a tad tighter than the large, but has an even greater flattening effect on my chest. I’m quite use to these tight, but breathable tanks, after 4 months of wearing them, so the firm hold of the medium doesn’t bother me at all. The effect it gives me it’s so remarkable, it’s well worth it. It really is noticeably amazing how I now look in medium T-shirts with this compression tank on (upon running into people I haven’t seen in a while, I get a lot of “you look great!” comments). It not only takes away my itty-bitty titties, but being able to wear the tighter more fitted “athletic fit looking” regular medium T-shirts on my large frame body makes my chest look more than a little fit, downright toned. Now, the effect on the belly isn’t nearly as great as that on the chest, but when I’m wearing one of these compression tanks, it’s kind of like a constant reminder to keep my belly sucked in, a procedure I’ve done for decades, so it does have an effect if you train yourself and use the squeezing of the shirt as a constant reminder to keep the belly sucked in. Really can’t rave enough about how much these have changed my attitude towards my physical appearance. If you struggle too with these issues, I hardily invite you to order one of these and try it for yourself!

It's a good product. Does a decent job of flattening the gyno (But nipples will still be visible if they are hard). However, it only lasts about six months with twice- or thrice-weekly use, which is its main drawback. I expect them to keep improving their product.

So I've tried Spanx and it worked for years for me but I didn't realize until now that I was not wearing it properly. After getting this Esteem Apparel compression shirt and reading the instructions, I see now that I should have been stepping into my previous compression shirt rather than pulling it over my head like a typical t-shirt. If you want to see results with this shirt, you MUST step into it and pull/stretch it up just far enough so that you can slip your arms into it. The key is that you want the shirt to be stretched down to your thighs. This creates optimal compression to your belly and pecs. I'm 5'5" and weigh 210lbs. I should really weigh closer to 150. I've been so self conscious about wearing t-shirts during the summer time as well as tank tops. I dread it. I find any way to layer clothing which sucks because I have to deal with being extra hot and stuffy. This compression shirt works much better than my Spanx compression shirt ever did and that thing was far more expensive than this one. I noticed that it hides much better underneath shirts than other compression shirts I've worn as well, it's hard to tell you've got it on. The only thing I really think could be improved or altered is the shoulder area, it's a bit wide and I wish it were slimmer because sometimes the shoulder tank top part of the shirt bunches up just a little bit but honestly it's not a huge deal. The material the shirt is made from allows my shirts that I wear over it to effortlessly move around. Previous compression shirts I've worn didn't allow that, they'd make my out shirt stick to it if that makes any sense. While this shirt doesn't make me appear skinny, obviously, it does an amazing job at reducing my pec fat and even my belly meats lol....and with minimal sucking-in on my part. I can actually walk around without having to hold my stomach in myself which over time hurts my lower back. I used to wear size Medium in shirts when I was at a healthy weight but being overweight now, I wear Large. For this compression shirt, I bought a Large and it fits just fine. It isn't too big or too small at all for me and it isn't too long either which is an issue I run into sometimes when buying Large sized shirts. It seems durable too as I've played arcade dance games with this thing on and sweated up a storm. Just make sure after washing it that you hang it out to dry, don't put it in the dryer as the heat will damage the mesh apparently. As long as you keep that in mind, this shirt should hold up fairly well! Esteem Apparel is a fitting name because this shirt has definitely boosted my self esteem to walk around in public without feeling so insecure. It's a shame I have to wear this to begin with but I'm trying to work on my diet and exercise more. But in the meantime, this shirt helps out with hiding my extra meats a bit lol. One last thing to mention is that this shirt actually does fit underneath my tank tops which is amazing, I wasn't expecting that. It hides fairly well under a tanktop especially if it's of a darker color. If I can edit this review later, I may add before/after photos when I get the time!

I’m a satisfied, happy buyer. My review is in two parts. PART 1 is background/back-story; and PART 2 is my conclusion and summary. PART 1: I used the size chart with the big title on it "Esteem Apparel Slimming Compression Shirts." I am 6'3" at 220 LB, which is in the XL zone but only one box away from L (large). Age 63, waist 40, chest 46. I chose size L (large). My formerly strong-firm pectoral muscles have been losing mass for a few years, and no longer as tight. And the skin isn't shrinking along with the muscle. PART 2, CONCLUSION AND SUMMARY: When I first put on a white collared tee shirt that I have to wear as a member of a performing group, it was bad and I was self conscious. Now I look much better! Excellent effect! Before, even with a crew neck undershirt beneath the collared tee shirt, my man-boobs were too obvious for my liking. This compression shirt is the solution. I'm compressed and firmed up. Also the compression shirt and its seams don’t show through the white collar tee shirt. I should mention that the outer white tee is good quality…..not wimpy and sheer like a lot of tees. Its brand name is Izod. Pulling the shirt requires more effort than our loose fitting stuff, and I expected that. Once on, I scooted what I'd call the boob area panel to where it belongs. Then made other simple adjustments. The shirt is great. Very comfortable in the chest/moob area...nice and snug, firming and flattening. The feeling of compression at my waist is tighter and more noticeable. It’s where I'm fatter than I should be, which is my fault, and I need to slim down. This shirt’s purpose is to help with the chest/moob problem, and for that purpose, it is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT successful. Until I slim down my waist, I like the compression of the love-handles/spare-tire zone. In that zone even though I don’t think of this as a belly-flattening shirt or love-handle-reducing shirt, I do look slightly slimmer, and my profile is more gradual in that zone. So, the love-handle bulge isn't as pronounced. Boy I’m a happy buyer. BRAVO!

This helps somewhat and will help flatten the chest and stomach but it won’t make you look much thinner. It doesn’t show at the front but will definitely show at the back and shoulders. Maybe it can be passed off as an undershirt. But probably not. If you are a normal BMI and suffer from genetic man boobies then this product can definitely help. But if you have man boobies because you are overweight then this product will not replace losing actual weight. If you are wearing a jacket or something that covers the back then you can get away with wearing this but if you just wear a T-Shirt over this then anyone who sees you from behind will definitely notice your “bra.”

I'm 5' 10", 240 lbs., ordered a XL and wear with everyday clothing. It stretches snug against the body like a second skin, is very breathable and does not show through the clothing. The feeling you'll get in the stomach region it's as if you're sucking in your gut however it's without trying and comfortable at the same time. Different that you put the shirt on by stepping through the neck area however makes a lot of sense. I don't generally workout and nor do I intend this to be a way to slim down but when I want to not feel like I have the dad gut this is great shapewear to help reduce that and provide a little bit more confidence in your look.

I initially ordered 5 shirts and found that they were a huge help. I've always worn standard undershirts and tried to keep them pulled down tightly, but they only could do so much. The Esteem shirts don't have this issue and always keep things tight and in place. They absolutely help me feel less self-conscious and help me feel more free. I don't want to leave home without them. So be ready to buy more (I bought another two) so that you have enough to work with and aren't always having to wash them. James (A&J Marketplace) was awesome. When I got my first batch, I also got a discount code for 10% off a purchase of 2 or more shirts. When I placed my order, the code didn't work. I reached out to the seller, and James immediately responded and enabled the code. PLUS he sent me a free shirt for the inconvenience. He absolutely didn't have to do that, but I hugely appreciate it. So great product from a great company. The negatives of the product really don't have anything to do with the product itself. I've found that the bottom of the shirt rolls upwards to my waist very easily. This is annoying and ends up with a tighter waste. However, I don't know of a way to solve it. I've just got a fat butt. ;-) Also, of course, it's tight and thus I can't say it's the most comfortable thing around. You'll generally notice you're wearing it. But what else would you expect? Finally, I've found that the seams can be irritating to my skin. They rub, of course, and any skin tags or the acne in the spots can become irritated. So if you have backne or shoulder acne, you might want to start out with one or two and try them before you go all-in. The tightness (which is good) and friction could be problematic. As someone who has struggled with self-confidence due to this condition, I can confidently say that this compression shirt has made a significant impact on my daily life. I’m a trans man and I decided to use this as a less tight version of a binder. I was not expecting it to be THIS good. It compresses amazingly. It’s better than a lot of binders I’ve seen, actually, and is half the price. It’s also very comfortable. Word of advice though: if you have a big belly, put it on as instructed and slowly shift it upwards until it’s covering your belly fully. Leave for a minute as you slowly raise it. After about 5 minutes or so, it should have expanded enough to wear, so just pop through your arms and you’re good :)

I can’t thank James the creator enough! Having been widowed I’ve lost over 6 stones in weight (21st down to 14st and over 6” off my waist) and this is the cherry on the top to UP my confidence while I now complete my tone up - it is extremely comfortable to wear, does not become unbearable, remains unrestrictive and is fully breathable. It has completely flattened my tummy and chest and sides with ease and it has totally shaped and tightened my core. It is helping me strengthen my 6’ 3” posture, back, neck and shoulders also.
