I purchased this for her birthday and she just used it for the first time last week and wow it was great. It took her about 45 minutes to completely straighten her entire head. This would take 2 + hours with a normal high end flat iron because she has very tight curly extra thick hair. She loves it and was amazed how well it worked. Thanks for a great product, now I don't have to step in after an hour to finish her hair due to tired arms and complaining. She now does it all by herself (she's 16) and it looks awesome. I am sure it takes her longer because of her hair type (she also goes over it more than once for completely straight hair),but if you go slowly over the hair and add the proper products before hand it works like a charm. I am so grateful to find something she will do herself without the bellyaching. By the way I read alot of these reviews to make purchases so I can promise my review is honest and I only leave feedback when I really like or dislike a product. This was not bought at a reduced or free price. I have very fine and straight hair so I was worried about making my hair too flat, but this straightener did the trick. It got rid of my frizz and my hair still had some body.
