Baru nuts are a great find for me. These exotic nuts are very tasty and crunchy (like almonds maybe).

Tasty, Interesting Snack
They are a bit pricey, but a pretty cool snack. Good texture & flavor. The product description is correct, they do taste a bit like peanuts, but a different shape & slightly different texture. If you have teeth that are prone to getting things painfully stuck between them or really delicate and sensitive gums, these may not be the snack for you. Something that contributes to their unique texture and taste is their "skin". It's like peanut skin but much firmer & crunchier. It can sometimes get stuck between your teeth. Overall, I would say; try them if you like nuts and are looking for something different. I will buy them again!

I LOVE Baru nuts but I got a bad batch
This is my Fourth order of these nuts. I Love these nuts! But this batch is bad :( I don’t know what’s wrong, but they taste rancid. I’m super bummed because I’m pretty addicted to baru nuts!

This nut has great flavor and fills you up. Takes away the snack attack fast. I love this nut.

decent flavor, but tricky to hull out the nut
crunchy unique flavor but tricky to remove the shell. after finishing half the bag I developed a technique to speed up the hull/shell removal.

Very interesting texture and flavor
The nut is a bit on the hard side when you first start to chew but then after a few chews it starts to break down to a smooth texture and then a mild peanut flavor starts to show up with a few other very subtle flavors that are hard to pinpoint but are good and earthly, almost mushroom like. If you are a nut eater I think you'll enjoy sampling this tropical fruit.
