Why is this pictured with a carry bag if it doesn’t come with it ?

Something must be wrong as I ordered the exact same item and it came with a carry bag just like the one pictured. It is a beautiful chess board and carry bag.

I find the quality of the board to be quite fine... board is 1/2" in thinkness, all the joints are very sound... A very good Chess board

Is the board solid wood or laminated wood ?

It’s not real wood, it’s a veneer over cheap mdf and not well stained either. Some of the squares are actually badly cut.

looking to buy African palisander board. Noticed in stock photo and customer pics some squares are misaligned slightly. Is this with all palisanders?
