Art Nouveau Fine Art Coloring Book: An Adult Coloring Book by Jennifer Kozlansky

Very poor quality book for the price. Thin paper, and some repeat designs. The Mucha pictures are small and many illustations have heavy black lines. There are better Art Nouveau books available on Amazon. Would not give it as a gift.

Containing some of Mucha's best known works, this is an interesting introduction to the 'father' of the Art Nouveau movement. However, the works are edited, leaving out some of the gorgeous detail found in the originals, but what's worse, the works are heavily outlined, which is in direct conflict with the beautiful, delicate lines as they were intended. It's sort of 'Art Nouveau for Dummies' and more intended for children, or those who require heavy lines to ensure the stay inside them. I was disappointed.

this is a wonderfully made book, not only in construction, but also in artwork. Jennifer sticks to Mucha's artwork beautifully as she has studied for years, keeping true to his work and style, plus adding in her very own artwork that is just a beautiful. Jennifer is very talented and creative and this book does not fall short for art nouveau style of adult coloring book, meant to be loved by those who enjoy this art style. I have a very varied library of books, and a very large one at that, but in every thing I do, I am diverse. I would buy it again. I give it five stars !!

This book is simply amazing, the way it's put together it's brilliant. Perfect for adults who are easing into the coloring world. I recommend this book to all colorest young and old at any stage of expertise.Kaytrina Lucas

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed this book very much. It provided some wonderful bonding time. It is a well made book with beautiful art. I definitely would recommend trying this one.
