A really good start.
Actually, I'd give this book 10 stars but 5 is Amazon's limit.I especially think Joe Cross’ allowing for family dinners in the five-day reboot protocol that he talks about here solves one of the BIG problems with a Reboot—or a pre-Reboot as the case is here. To be sure, this program is a start. As I write this I’m on day 13 of such a reboot, minus dinners. ‘Abandoning’ most of the stuff on a standard American diet is hard. The fact is, what most people eat is basically garbage. Joe’s program provides and excellent start to both getting a whole lot of nutrients and of pursuing a more focused reboot; and you might even lose a little weight, too. The bottom line is to move towards a diet that is 90% fruits, herbs, sprouts and vegetables. The other 10% is mostly inconsequential. Sadly, most people’s diet is 10% fruits, herbs, sprouts and vegetables and the rest is junk.This book provides an excellent means to start to reverse that process. Above all else, critical to everyone's diet is to drink at least three glasses of fresh juice made from fruits and vegetables. Simple, Effective, Life-Changing
This book is simple and sums up juicing reboots nicely. I have followed this 5-day plan several times, each with great results that included significant weight loss, increased energy, and a "reprogramming" of my taste buds to crave more vegetables and nutrient dense foods. My first time through I'll be honest: I hated some of the juices because I was used to sweeter processed junk but I stuck to it with precision and it worked. Over time I got more used to them and have started to even enjoy some of them. I go back to this 5-day plan to get things back on track when I start to slip into old bad habits. The veggie chili recipe is become a staple in my house for a quick super-healthy meal. (I make big batches of it when my garden is in season and can it for healthy winter convenience food!) I've fought my weight my whole life and this method just flat gets me results and I feel HEALTHY when following this plan. Overall, this little book has been a big part of my success in taking back my health and dropping 45 pounds and counting.

Juice it
Good book. Only thing is juicing cost money. But good book if your juicing for a few days.

Very Informative
I learned so much from this little book. Goes into all the advantages of doing a juice cleanse. The recipes are super - there's also a shopping list to get you through the 5 days if you stick to the recipes in the book - makes it simple for us new beginners! If you're thinking about juicing to detox and lose some weight but don't know where to begin, Juice It To Lose It is a resource I highly recommend!

This series of books is great for a beginner.
The shopping list and optional meal is especially helpful.After trying different recipes, the order of ingredients makes a difference in cleaning. Carrots or other “hard” items going in last seems to help the cleaning.I was surprised about how delicious the different recipes in “Juice it to Lose it” are.The juices are desirable and have layers of complex flavor. They are not at all like the green or orange yuck I remember from years ago

The recipes and concept are great - however really THINK about if you have time to juice. It's very time consuming. It's also pretty expensive to buy all organic produce and throw a lot of the poundage away. You will spend a LOT of time shopping, prepping, juicing and cleaning up the kitchen. It was just too much trouble for me. For about the same amount of money, I can buy the cold-pressed organic juices sold in the store near the OJ and save all the hassle. I gave it 3 stars because the recipes I tried were tasty enough to keep people interested, but I'm telling you for real - it's a hassle. So unless you're literally trying to save your life, or you get to stay home all day, I'd really think about the time involved in juicing. No sooner did I juice and clean everything up, it was time to juice again.

Great book, poor website
The book had all the basics I'd hoped for and is an easy read! I've jumped right into my reboot with a trip to the store, thanks to the shopping list! The recipes from Day 1 were soooo much better than I thought they'd be. Daily tips and what to expect were very helpful.The only disappointment were all the great references to Joe's website, only to discover a page with TONS of pop-ups! Wait 15 seconds before clicking on anything, or click on what you want to see really fast, before you end up on another page. I couldn't find the article I wanted to read.I will probably get the recipe book next.

Only if your are serious about weight loss should you order this book.For me it is a game changer.I started JUICING and was amazed how quickly Imoved away from "what ' I'll call a normal diet to one based upon vegatables.Weight came off -sleep was great, if your ready go for it.Side not - check the thrift stores - I lucked out and found a Breville for $8.99 @ Goodwill.My thought is that some folks read up on Juicing - get hept up, go buy a juicer and never get into the mood, there are hundreds of recipes on the Internet. Experiment and find those that suit you.Commit.Ed

Neste livro Joe Cross dá continuidade à abordagem da alimentação rica em nutrientes através de sucos de vegetais. Embora pareça repetição dos trabalhos anteriores, o título atual tem a vantagem de simplificar mais os procedimentos da alimentação a partir de dicas práticas sobre como começar o "reboot" (período de alimentação à base de sucos), quantos sucos serão ingeridos por dia, lista de compras e de substituição de alimentos e outras informações úteis. Vale a pena lê-lo.

Very handy guide to use in conjunction with the five day juice it to lose it reboot program. Highly recommended.

Helpful Guide
Excellent book for anyone starting out on a juice fast influenced weight loss programme. Joe Cross has been around the block and knows just what a person starting on juicing needs to know to stay motivated and on track. A good, easy to navigate handbook.

Not the books fault I gave juicer away so didn’t need the book so I gave that away. Found the juicer to messy
