I leave mine connected to the seat but swing it around when not in use. **Q: How thick is this product?** A: Roughly the thickness of a waxing microfiber towel, or a hand towel used in the kitchen. **Q: is this waterproof?** A: I don’t know if it’s completely waterproof, but it certainly is water-resistant. I’ve been using mine for a couple of years now, after hiking and playing basketball, and see no signs whatsoever of any stains on my car seat cover—and the towel has been quite wet afterward each time. In my opinion, it works perfectly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality! Protects my leather upholstery. We had a triple digit Summer this year! *by Y***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2023* I have had similar covers for my leather seats. I am especially pleased with this product. Designers have improved on features that made others I owned look inferior:1. Backing material of cover doesn’t slide out of alignment or off of seat.2. Headrest strap is adjustable and holds position.3. Top surface lays flat, is soft enough, and washable.4. Keeps seat protected and you can wear shorts without burning the back of your legs!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works great in my car *by B***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2021* Wonderful. My car has black leather seats and is very hot in the summer.. For years, I used a towel on the seats. This seat cover doesn't shift around like the towel did. Installs easy. Covers all the leather well in my 2007 Dodge Charger. Like the product so much that I ordered seat cover for passenger front. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, just a bit big for our seats. Would buy again. *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2019* Got two of these to put over my leather seats. I love the durability of leather but despise how hot they are in the summer and cold in the winter. These are perfect for protecting legs! The seat heater can still be felt through the towel and anti slip backing keeps the towel in place fairly well. I do have to adjust it daily but it’s a lot better than just a plain towel that would slip and slide everywhere. My only complaint is that the adjustable strap at the top of the towel is just too long. Even at the tightest adjustment it still puckers and slides down the back of the seat. I will probably be back to buy two more of these for the back seats when summer rolls around. They really do protect bare thighs from blazing sun on black leather when it’s 100 degrees outside. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/27286365-oxgord-yoga-sweat-towel-auto-seat-cover-for-athletes-fitness](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/27286365-oxgord-yoga-sweat-towel-auto-seat-cover-for-athletes-fitness) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
