Great bang for the buck in a brand new computer
This computer is the absolute pinnacle of bang for the buck, for a brand new, fully Windows 11 pro desktop. This was engineered very well, making the RIGHT consessions to low cost. For instance, the SSD interface is an M2 NVME x1 lane arrangement which is almost double the speed of a SATA III SSD drive. Not nearly as fast as an NVME x4 lane interface, but it is fully compatible with any M2 NVME pcie3 x4 drive out there. Plus there's the internal SATA III drive bay which can hold up to 2TB (either HDD or SDD) right under the motherboard. I use a 4TB external HDD interfaced to the USB 3.2 (10mbps). Everything I need to execute quickly I store on the internal 500GB drive, while stuff that doesn't have such a high speed priority I store on the 4TB drive. Another area where they made cost savings was in the single channel DDR4 memory controller. The ram included is DDR4 3200 16GB RAM. It's a very fast standard SO-DIMM (think laptop memory) which gives plenty of memory bandwidth to the CPU/GPU. In this kind of computer having dual channel memory is overkill. Of course this wasn't BeeLinks call as much as Intel's. All of the Alder Lake N SoC chips only work in single channel only. The only problem I encountered with this box was using video in 1080p at 75hz refresh rate. Again, an Intel thing. At 75hz, there were certain web sites that would not load correctly and would shut off the video completely and this would happen every time on these few sites. However that problem disappeared when I lowered the refresh down to 60hz. Also it only happened on very few websites. I would recommend this machine for anyone who wants a great performing home or office PC that has a super small footprint. Gamers will need to look elsewhere.

Flexible little mini-pc
I purchased the Mini S12 for use as a home Linux file server. Upgraded memory and added a 1 TB SSD drive. Cannot attest to Windows 11 experience as I installed Linux out of the box, but of course Linux is blazing fast. Assembled a 4 SSD software RAID 5 disk without effort that has worked flawlessly and use an external USB SSD for backup. Wireless transfer speeds are acceptable, considering wireless and the inherent drawbacks of consumer SSD drives in RAID. This little PC handles intended functions effortlessly per HTOP. It stays cool and has never needed a restart. My network rack sits in an unventilated closet so power consumption and heat generation were high priority. This PC, the RAID enclosure, Protectli firewall and small layer 2 switch add up to about a 4 F temp increase in the closet over ambient temp. Perfectly acceptable. This is not intended by Bee-Link for use as a server and some advanced features are not available. While I anticipated this, it was a surprise to find I needed an HDMI emulator to boot without a monitor as I found no way to enable this in the BIOS. This is a small inconvenience but worth noting for others who wish to make a ridiculously inexpensive yet perfectly capable home server. The box runs Ubuntu Server and I chose to install the GUI, including Collabra and other productivity software despite the overhead. In my use case performance is perfectly fine. Onboard disk space will never be an issue because, well, Linux. Given that the N95 proc is what it is and I haven’t tested Plex or other media services I cannot say whether the S12 has the juice for home streaming. But for a private home cloud for files and services, it’s perfect. I don’t see myself replacing my laptop with a mini-pc, but I can see other more powerful Bee-Link minis doing their thing around the house.

Amazing piece of equipment
I purchased this for an experiment. My old desktop was way beyond it's life expectancy. Needed a new motherboard battery (no big deal) but Windows 11 would can not install. Amazon had this on special and I was intrigued by it's size and cost. I wanted to use this for streaming videos and browsing the Internet. I have another system of I needed to perform power user functions. The installation was easy. All my programs worked without a problem. Updates to WIN 11 were performed. Streamed videos without any issues and an able to access all the website I use the most. The system was installed for a week before writing this review. For what I wanted and what I received, it was well worth the cost.

Impressive Little Box
I bought this to replace a defunct workstation that I used to remotely control my amateur astronomical observatory. The automation and data acquisition applications are not terribly demanding on CPU or memory and this machine seems to handle all tasks well. I had no trouble installing all the necessary hardware drivers and applications. Boot up is fast and running the connection sequence for all the observatory hardware is just a few seconds. My only concern is how well it will survive the brutal Central Texas summer temperatures, only time will tell.

Missing Windows 11 Activation Key
Can't do much without an valid activation key. Windows claims that the one on my unit is in use on another computer. I've emailed Beelink. We'll see if they handle this in a timely manner. UPDATE: Beelink responded with one working day. After sending them a photo of the serial number sticker on the bottom of the unit they promptly sent me the key. Excellent customer service, but I still don't understand why the key wasn't shipped with the unit in the first place. I'll upgrade my rating to 4.

Nice computer
Pros: Good price for the specification. Easy to install. Cons: None in particular. It will be nice to provide some Velcro strips for monitors which don’t have brackets to attach this mini PC behind the monitor

I love it!!! My Beelink MINIS 12 Mini PC is a small but mighty machine, perfect for a tidy setup at home or in the office. Powered by an Intel Alder Lake-N95 processor (4 cores, 4 threads, up to 3.4GHz), it’s quick and responsive for daily tasks, streaming, or light gaming. The Intel UHD Graphics handles 4K video at 60Hz beautifully through the dual HDMI ports—no lag, just crisp visuals. It comes with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM, mine is the 16GB, and 256GB or 500GB of storage, mine is the 500GB, which is perfect out of the box. For those who need more room, you can expand it with an M.2 SATA3 SSD (up to 2TB) or a 2.5-inch SATA HDD (also up to 2TB). You heard me right, Its expandable! Connectivity is top-notch: you’ve got four USB 3.2 ports, a 1000Mbps Ethernet port for fast and stable internet, and dual HDMI ports for a dual-display setup. Windows 11 is preinstalled, so it’s ready to go as soon as you plug it in. It’s energy-efficient, too, with a 12V/3A adapter that works on a wide voltage range (100-240V). Compact, quiet, and versatile, this little PC punches well above its weight. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a reliable and space-saving solution. Highly recommend, eh! I'm Canadian.
