It's one of those in between oils- not too light not too heavy. I only use it on my body, cannot attest to any other uses. It really helps with scarring (over a few months however). I didn't buy it for that but I had a cut and noticed the scar is pretty much gone now. In winter I have doubled it with cream to last. Summer I use alone. There's not real scent to it. I use everyday sometimes twice a day and it lasts me under two months.
