Worked perfectly
I donโt really write reviews normally, but I was compelled because this product is so simple and it turned something. Itโs just terrible into something. Thatโs quite nice. And crowded, itโs vinyl furniture, rightโฆ So weโre not talking high-end. Put man is this a good solution. We have a massage chair where the vinyl/clutter is totally flaking in so many places. The stuff, was ridiculously easy to apply and quite frankly it looks great! Stuff not perfect, but from a distance, you canโt tell it all ended up close you can tell, but it doesnโt really matter. I couldnโt be happier. This was the perfect low cost and effective solution to my dirty, grungy, flaking pleather.

A few tips!
Product worked better than expected because I forgot to do somethingโฆ. Tip 1: Product says to sand down or scrape the old material. I forgot and started applying it. However, I noticed that adhesion to the previous material was AMAZINGLY strong, but to the fabric under the old material, it did not stick at all. So, I kept going anyway. I have a few bumps from where you can see I didnโt scrape the stuff off. So on my second chair, I just pulled off pieces that were peeling so the surface was smoother, but still did not scrape everything off. Second chair worked great! Tip 2: with the backing on it, I measured and cut. Then as I was applying I realized that the material was actually a little stretchy, which is super great because I could get a nice fit. So, leave a little room when you measure to allow for stretching. Not a lot, but maybe 1/2 inch. Tip 3: A second person is helpful when applying a large strip. Haha. Unless you want to be like me and get you hair stuck on the adhesion and drop and restick the sticky sideโฆ. So yeah. I figured it out, but it is a two person job. Side notes: It smelled like a new product. Nothing crazy though. And I am sensitive to smells. So maybe some come stronger scented than others, but I think faux leather stinks in general. I have whiter chairs than the color offered, but I ultimately decided I didnโt care that much because I have kids at home anyway. It ended up matching pretty good! So if you have white-white fabric, this is very much beige. The only edges not staying down as well are areas where the original faux fabric had peeled away and the adhesion didnโt stick as well to the cushion under the old fabric. So, there you have it.

A simple repair solution for one of my couch covers for pets
I am a professional pet sitter. A while back I bought these waterproof leather look cover covers for my couch. I do have clients that shed and have long nails and I was trying to protect my couches underneath. I have multiple covers depending on what clients are over. They no longer make this cover, but it works the best with the large breed dogs, such as labrador and golden, retrievers, etc. It started to fray and peel I found this and think it would be a good solution just to cover up the areas that weโre wearing down. Just went on today so I havenโt had a wear test from any of the pups but so far the adhesive sticks really well simple to install. I just cut a square and a strip for the places I was trying to cover up. Iโm not so concerned about the color match, but it actually matches pretty well. I just hope the edges donโt start to peel away as dogs start to jump on the couch. I canโt tell if this is better as a small patch repair idea or for a larger area. The area that I used was probably about 18 x 12 and another was the length of the couch arm. I think itโs gonna be fine for what I need until I can find a more permanent solution in of an easy waterproof pet protector. And yes, I have tried the cloth lines in a microfiber ones and thereโs another one on here thatโs kind of like a big shower curtain, but it also smelled really bad This seems reasonably priced overall. Itโs very sticky back. Has a peel off back that you stick onto the surface. I recommend peeling and pulling as you place it on top and then I use a soft cloth to kind of rub it in. I donโt wanna give it five stars yet until I know how itโs gonna wear.

Very easy to work with
I don't normally leave reviews , but I felt I should with this one. I was very overly pleased with this repair kit. It turned out so nice.I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. The color blended right in with my couch. You could not even tell that there was a repair done. Very easy to work with. Even by myself. I highly recommed this product.

Extremely difficult to work with.
Almost impossible to work with. It is very sticky and the paper backing tears easily. However, it is the best alternative I have found to fix a torn leather sofa. It isnโt perfect but it does an okay job.

Great buy for upholstery repair!
Loved this. Really feels like leather. Is very nice and not exact match to my recliner, but better than the chair was! Iโd definitely buy it again, itโs holding great!
