The bar almost looks translucent, which you can't really tell from the pictures. I usually use soaps that look solid and have a more creamy texture. However, the translucency does not take anything away from the product: it lathers nicely, does not leave a greasy residue, cleans well, and does not irritate my skin. The only complaint I have is that the company added sugar as an ingredient. If you look at the ingredient list, there is 6% of sugar in this product.
