Works a treat
Purchased to connect an SD card reader to my iPad. Despite other reviews, works a treat as expected so far and at a very reasonable price. Appears well made.

SImple way to connect an iPad
I use this to connect my iPad to a music keyboard so that they can talk to each other, share MIDI messages and that sort of thing. It works just fine, is smaller than the Apple equivalent product and seems robust and reliable. It doesn't have the power port (which the apple camera connector does have), but as I don't need that, it's not a problem for me.

Works fantastically.
This is just what I needed to connect my headphones ( Focal Bathy in DAC mode ) to my iPad which only has a lightning connector. it works straight away and the cable on it is a very soft braided type of cable which makes it very flexible. Highly recommended.

Great product that works well.
I bought this to link my Bluetooth USB mouse with my iPad. Just plugged it in the iPad, plugged the mouse dongle to it and the mouse started working on the iPad. I'm very pleased with it.

Disappointing Performance for External Microphones and Video Recording
I purchased the TargetGo Lightning to USB Camera Adapter with the intention of using it for external microphone connections on my iPhone, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While it's fine for basic data transfers, it has serious limitations when it comes to more demanding tasks, especially with audio and video accessories.- Data Transfer Works as ExpectedFor exporting data, such as using a USB flash drive or connecting a keyboard, this adapter performs adequately. It connects smoothly and does the job with no major issues. If you’re only planning to use it for transferring files or connecting simple devices like a mouse or keyboard, you should be fine.- Major Issues with External MicrophonesThe primary reason I bought this adapter was to connect an external microphone to my iPhone, but the results were extremely disappointing. When I connected the microphone, there was a loud, persistent buzzing sound throughout the entire video recording. This completely ruined the audio quality, making the setup unusable for any serious recording work.- Problems with Face Camera and Video RecordingIn addition to the audio issues, I encountered disruptions when using the front-facing camera. The video would jump and freeze intermittently, which made it impossible to record smooth footage. This suggests the adapter may either be too sensitive or poorly constructed, as it simply couldn't handle more complex tasks.Final VerdictThe TargetGo Lightning to USB Camera Adapter may work fine for simple data exports, but it's a poor choice if you're looking to use it for anything more demanding, such as connecting external microphones or using it for video recording. The buzzing sound during recordings and disruptions when using the face camera make it a frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this product if you're hoping to improve your iPhone's audio or video capabilities.Pros:- Works fine for basic data transfers (USB flash drives, keyboard, mouse)Cons:- Loud buzzing noise when using external microphones- Video jumps and freezes when using the front-facing camera- Poor performance with audio and video accessories- Feels either too sensitive or of low qualityEdit: Adding one star, as I discovered the description mentions it is not recommended to use it with external micrphones. this info could be more stand-out though.
