Adena Montessori Object Permanence Box, 3 Wooden Balls, Primary Colors

Well built and my little one loves watching how it works. Can’t wait until he’s old enough to do it himself!

I purchased this to help my baby work on fine motor skills. It has helped so much. Once she understood the toy she was able to do it all by herself without assistance at 9 months old! The toy is very sturdy and can take a baby banging on it with the ball or other toys. It keeps her entertained for a while.

This has been a well loved toy by both my babies. I originally purchased it 2 years ago for my first born. She took to it fast around 5 or 6 months. They love figuring out how it works! To this day she still uses the balls, but for more creative purposes like cooking eggs in her play kitchen. My second born was busy learning to walk, but loves banging the balls together, walking around with them and is finally slowing down enough to figure out how it works! As you can see in the video, when he sees his success he does a little dance! It really is a multifaceted toy and well loved. Both kids enjoy the colors. Golf balls fit in the hole too if you want more balls haha. Great value for a well loved toy in our home!

Our first one came with some paint scratched off the ball, had a replacement. So far our 5 month old seems to enjoy it though it’s a bit early for him - he kind of just watches us play with it for him. The only issue I really have is the “auditory feedback” when the ball drops is so loud! It hurts MY ears when it drops, and it definitely shocks/scares our boy. We placed a thin burp cloth folded to a square inside the box where the ball drops to lessen the sound but still allow the ball to roll out.

I bought this toy for my baby, and although she’s too little to understand dropping the ball in the hole herself, she likes the brightly colored balls. We play together where I drop the ball through the hole which makes a big noise, and she’ll grab the ball after it rolls to the base of the box.

Fantastic object permanence box. I specifically wanted to find one of these for our almost-6-month-old who is grabbing a lot more, and wanted to find one that was all wood including the balls. This is well-made, and I love having three wooden balls in different colors - we also call out the colors to him as we put the different ones into the hole. He’s transfixed by it as he’s just “helping” us drop them in for now, and I look forward to him developing the skills to do it all by himself. Exactly what I hoped for.

It’s an awesome toy and my 8 month old loved it (doesn’t use it much now at 17m old). Only complaint is that it came apart and we had to re-glue it. And this was being gentle with the toy too. Just from picking it up and putting it on the shelf repeatedly , it eventually came apart.
