Purchased twice and arrived damaged twice
I ordered the item 2 times, and in both cases the battery arrived damaged and unusable. Do not recommend at all, made me waste a lot of time.

Great Battery
It is really good battery , easy to install , i made it myself , and recognized on my system automatically , the problem is (i don't know if it is regarding to battery) the battery doesn't charge very fast, it charges really slowly (long long time) i don't know why

Serious issue
I bought the battery for MacBook Pro MID 2012 (non retina model). Very easy install. The included special tools are nice touch. Pretty good quality from outside, charging up to 6535 mAh, and it seem working just fine. Time will tell if it holds the capacity. I will update my review after one year.Update - One month laterMy MacBook Pro 2012 shut down all of sudden. Battery lelev was still 50%. I connect charger, then started charging from 0%.... See my second picture how it went. This happened three times now. Very very sketchy behaviour for a high power Li-ion battery. Basically the controller on this battery is not monitoring the battery status correctly. I am afraid it catches fire or explodes someday. Please note that the battery health also went down to 94% after 8 cycles. The items to be returned.

Works but doesn't have a long battery life
This was fairly easy to install. My old battery had expanded inside the case which was pushing onto my trackpad and made the clicking difficult. Once I replaced the battery, my trackpad worked as expected. The battery itself doesn't keep in charge long. I just disconnected the computer to move it and when I replugged the power, it showed that it had lost about 2% of its charge. That was in a period of maybe 1 minute! Otherwise if you are simply trying to fix the problem I was (trackpad) and don't really use you Macbook Pro on battery power, this is an ok choice. I would probably look for a different option knowing what I know now...

Screw driver issue
Update: although I followed all the instruction the battery has not been performing well. I'm changed my review to one star.Spend the extra money and go to the Apple Store and buy a real apple battery. Not this after market garbage.The battery install was simple enough, however it did lot come with the correct screw drivers. Maybe it was just my luck but I had to use my own eye glasses screw driver to supplement it. One of the ones it came with was simply flat on top (not sure if the tip part broke off or something). This made the entire process much harder than it needed to be. Also. The battery calibration is important. It has an instruction book which seems out of date and doesn't do a good job explaining the process. However, I was able to watch a third party YouTube video for my specific computer which explained it pretty well step by step.

Stay Away. Poor Quality Battery. Bad Service Seller.
I purchased this battery based on good reviews here. But after using this battery for the last 4 months, I am now sure that this battery is of bad quality. The battery only last about 2.5 hours. This is below the 3 hours I used to get with the original, end of life OEM battery that came with my 2010 MacBook Pro.I reached out to the seller in October. They said they would send me a new one to try. It has now been a month. I haven't received a replacement. Honestly, even a new one will not be any better. The quality is just poor. Period. I would not buy from this seller again. The battery isn't the cheapest either but mid-range.I am using my OEM battery. I am happier with it than with this poor quality battery.

Quick discharge and Lots of Heat
My Macbook, in spite of it's SSD drive, will overheat under heavy use and shut down. It will also discharge in about an hour and a half, from full to empty, while continuously playing video content.... This battery did nothing to minimize these issues...
